In a world much like our own, magic is very real, and it's practitoners live right beneath the noses of normal people. They are the unseen protectors, masters of science and magic. They are the Alchemists, manipulating the building blocks of reality to guard mankind from demons.

The World:
-Alchemists are people who can manipulate the building blocks of reality to control a given element. They gain this power either through discovering it themselves (Which hasn't happened for 100 years, and nobody knows how it works), or the more common method of being near an Alchemist who dies during their service.

-The service of most Alchemists is fighting demons, monsters created by the gods whenever they feel particularly spiteful. They are also sometimes summoned by Occultists, people chosen by dark gods to perform tasks for them.

-Most Alchemists are in The Guild, a confederacy that works to help Alchemists fight demons. They give Alchemists missions, and also pay them for research and their work.

-The world this game takes place in is the same as our world unless otherwise noted. There's the same technology level, most of the same countries.

-We'll start out in the town of Riverfield, Minnesota.

-This RP takes place in the same world as http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/f425/occultists-sign-ups-141001/#post4411209 . So there might be a crossover if everyone's down with it.

Sign-Ups:
Name: What's your character called?
Age: How old is your character? Should be somewhere around 16, if only for the purposes of keeping the characters mostly the same age.
Gender: Is your character a boy, girl, hermaphrodite, transvestite, or did they just never bother to look down?
Appearance: What does your character look like?
Likes: What does your character like?
Dislikes: What doesn't your character like?
Family: List any parents, pets, siblings, etc.
Favorite thing: It can be a person, a thing, or an idea.
Element: Post your element and what it can do here. Only one person can have an element at a given time. You should have two powers. Like, a fire alchemist might be able to shoot fireballs and make their fists catch fire, and an earth alchemist could create walls of dirt and dig in the ground. Include some flaws too. Like using their powers tires them out, or they need some of their element on hand to use their powers.
Skill: List one thing unrelated to Alchemy your character is especially good at.

(Feel free to suggest new ones)

Rules:
-No godmodding. So no saying an attack hit, or controlling other people's characters. Controlling a few NPCs is fine, but it gets kinda godmodding if they're doing things like fighting bad guys for your character.
-Romance is okay, just keep it PG-13. I don't care how sexy you think your character doing the horizontal mambo with another character is. Odds are the others will disagree.
-No tennising. A couple of posts is fine, but if two users are writing pages upon pages by themselves, it gets a tad excessive.
-Have fun!

Mine (Also an example):
Name: David Law
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Appearance: David always wears a red knit cap on his head, covering his short brown hair. His eyes are usually half closed, and he has tan skin. He likes to dress for comfort; he always wears a hooded sweater and jeans. Also socks with sandals. He doesn't do much, so he doesn't exactly have muscles, and he's a bit short, at 5'8. He also has a small soul patch on his chin.
Likes: Sleeping, helping people, bitter food, comfortable clothes
Dislikes: Having to dress up, work
Family: He lives with his dad, Jeremiah Law, as well as two dogs.
Favorite thing: Sleeping
Element: Life (Unless someone else really wants it.) He can heal people near him, and increase their physical abilities. He can also detect the life force of creatures, allowing him to sense when living beings are present, even if he can't actually see them. He can only heal so many people before he gets tired, though, and he can't use his powers on himself.
Skill: He's quite skilled at sneaking around.

Name: Treis Nomadan
Age:18
Gender: Female
Appearance: 5'4. Shoulder-length black hair with white streaks, wears a white turtle neck and black cargo pants. Somewhat pale, but not unhealthily so.
Likes: Hanging out with friends, exploring, video games, reading, writing, pondering about about the mysteries of the universe.
Dislikes: Doing the same thing repeatedly if it's boring, people who resign themselves to fate.
Family: Moved out of her parents house to get some time to herself. Lives in an apartment by herself and works at a library.
Favorite thing: Pasta.
Element: Time. She can slow it, speed it up, and in some cases, reverse it, but she needs to focus to do so.
Skill: She can do physics calculations in her head.

Accepted, so long as you add a way to disrupt it or prevent it. Otherwise it would get pretty OP. Like, maybe she can only manipulate time while she's standing in place, or only if she focuses really hard for a few seconds beforehand.

Name: Louis Shackleton
Age: 14 (and Prepubescent)
Gender: Male
Appearance: Louis has long, chocolate-brown hair, piercing blue eyes, and pale skin. He is 5'5 and slightly skinny, and always dresses in tracksuit pants, boots and a parka.
Likes: Explorers, Hot Drinks, Building, Heat, Arcades, Retro Video Games, Jaffa Cakes
Dislikes: Long Journeys, Prolonged Boredom, Romance, Cold, Ice Cream
Family: He lives with his Mum (He's British,) Emily Shackleton, and his two cats, Scott and Mawson.
Favorite thing: Mystery
Element: Gravity. He can flip, rotate, adjust or even remove gravity. However, he can only do it in one small area around him at a time.
Skill: Making things with junk.

Could you reserve me Death please? This looks fun :-D.

Name: Senri Nakamura

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Appearance: Senri stands at 5,7 and weighs 130 lbs with a slim but very toned build. His Alchemist hariatage caused him to be born with black hair hair and bright red with with straight straight black bangs that go just below his eye brows. He typically wears more western goth clothes such as black jeans with chains and fingerless gloves. He carries a large pair of Silver Pistols called Fenrir

Likes: His happy memories, his father, drawing, his friends

Dislikes: Demons, people with bad intentions, lies

Family: Senri's mother died from child birth and he was raised by his father who was a renound alchemist. But when he was 12, his father was murdered by a Demon who was about to kill him, Fenrir came to him and he used it to kill the demon. After that, he was trained to be an alchemist.

Favorite thing: The memory of his father

Element: Fire, He harnesses it through Fenrir. Fenrir never runs out of bullets and the bullets create a small explosion of flames on impact. Senri uses this to his advantage with Fenrir to shoot close range and let the bullets explode on the opponent during combat. Fenrir is also large enough to smack foes like a melee weapon.

Skill: He's a decent sketch artist and he is a very skilled marksman, but without Fenrir, he has no means of offense.

@Wild Candy, you have like three powers. It says in the OP you can only have two. Don't worry, you can get the others later. Also, I'd rather not have any alchemists with abilities stemming from demons, at least not yet. If you change this, you're accepted.

@Grit; I deleted everything other then creating limbs and tentacles of shadow, But would it be to much trouble to let him have that curse, the curse didn't cause his alchemist powers, it just caused them to be shadow based. Also I wanted to create sort of an Aniti-hero who's not very welcomed by other Alchemists.

I know, but it smacks pretty heavily of occultist stuff. I'm sorry, but I don't want any alchemists with occultist powers yet. Besides, if the alchemist he inherited his powers from was a Dark alchemist, he would be a Dark alchemist anyways.

Edited, Now his element is fire which he harnesses through two large pistols. He's also, no longer cursed.

Name: Tyler Algore

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance: Tyler is extremely tell for his age, standing at almost 6'4. Due to his alchemist ability of electricity, he has short electric blue hair, which is usually spiked in the front. He also has large, piercing blue eyes. You will usually see him wearing a sports jersey, or a t-shirt and shorts. Tyler never wears a belt, which is the reason his pants are constantly falling down. He has a large, muscular, build and tannish skin.

Likes: Dogs, His Family, Shocking Peoples Faces, Parties

Dislikes: Demons, The Dark, Spiders

Family: He has a mom and a dad, three dogs, and a little sister

Favorite thing: He thinks he is the only person in the world with these powers, which makes him feel special

Element: Tyler can use his hands to shoot electric bolts flying at his enemy. He can also control electricity with his mind. For instance, turning the lights off with his mind. One of his biggest flaws is that using his power drains electricity from any nearby sources.

Skill: He is especially good at talking his way out of trouble.

Why is it that I always feel obligated to play as a female character? Why is the gender ration always so distorted :p?

Name: Claire Revant
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: Fairly tall for a woman at 5'9". She has dark blonde hair, and clear brown eyes, with pale, slightly unhealthy skin. She typically wears a medium-length white jacket over a grey turtleneck, paired with black jeans and boots.

Likes: Her sister, quiet, peace, reading, and fighting
Dislikes: Strangers, noise, disorder, fighting
Family: Dead parents, one younger sister
Favorite thing: Her sister

Element: Death. Claire can drain life energy, weakening foes up to the point of death. However, this requires exponentially greater effort: the closer the target gets to death, the more she needs to focus. Making an enemy mildly fatigued only takes a few seconds, while exhaustion takes dedicated focus, and completely incapacitating them requires several minutes of sustained effort. Killing someone with her power outright could take days or weeks, and possibly put herself into a coma from the strain. She is also capable of talking to the recently dead, those whose bodies have yet to decompose.
Skill: A decent shot with a pistol.

Accepted. We'll be starting this pretty soon, so if you've been putting off signing up, speak now or forever hold your peace.
