Simple. The first person simply thinks of a topic, and each user thinks of something to do with it, which begins with the next letter. After you reach Z, the next person thinks of a new topic, and then it goes in a topic.

For example:
Topic: Animals
User 1: Ape
User 2: Baboon
User 3: Chimpanzee
User 26: Zebra
User 27: Topic: Fruit - Apple
User 28: Banana
And so on.
EDIT: If there isn't something to do with the topic that begins with X, Q, etc., then you can skip it and move on to the next letter.
