Looking at the Global Warming debate from a different perspective. Personally, it's telling me what I already know, but he presents it well. (As with most videos, free feel to ignore the comments, since that mostly is just a sampling of the finest idiocy the 'net has to offer.)
The first time I saw this argument was in my Environmental Science textbook. It discussed it from a different perspective - even if it's not saving us from a global disaster, managing our resources does have other benefits to us. So they said it's basically a choice between "major win/minor win" or "win/major loss" depending on what we do. But then again, well, while the authors certainly knew the field and were justified in everything they said, I'd argue it was my most biased textbook ever.
Anyway, I put this in the Soap Box since it is about a controversial matter, but I'll be interested to see if and how the argument is actually debated.
