[Asrai]

Hi there,

I'm new to the forum and figured I'd make my first post filled with what I'm good at; art. Lol.

Okay, so, here's an unfinished piece (started back in March,) of a Trainer character I created for an RP on another forum. There isn't much left to do to it, I just haven't had the time, (It still needs shading.)

I'll post it inside a spoiler tag so it doesn't take up tonnes of space.

The character's name is Melissa, she started off her journey with a Chikorita. Considering most of the evolved forms of her Pokémon are rather large, I stuck with the basic forms.

I chose most of these because they aren't really conventional choices, not because they're my "favourites." (Though I do like Chikorita and Jigglypuff XD)

ANYWAYS when I actually find time to finish it, I will, and post it here. Seeing as I'm in a Pokémon mood once again, I'll probably be drawing some other original characters.

Those are really nice pictures, I especially like the way you drew Chickorita in the second, and I like the Pokemon Choices you made for your character. I like the poses of them as well as with your drawing still. It's all very nice, I can't wait to see when you are done with the shading on the first one. (you did say it was unfinished, right?)

Edit: I've created a character/reference sheet for Melissa along with an introduction comic strip. I'm going to be using her for this club on deviantART called Pokémon Creative Battle Club (PCBC). Basically, people create their own trainer characters and then draw them battling it out in this tournament, so it's like one huge collaboration I guess?

My character for an RP on another site, Shannon Key.

And a picture of all of the characters in that same RP. I tried to go for a sort of Sugimori esque look for the people. Didn't work too well.
