I feel like everything about the frontier should be in one thread so heres that thread

For those of you who didn't play emerald the battle frontier in emerald had seven facilitates the pike( damn you lucy and your shuckle),pyrimid,palace,facortory, dome, tower and dojo(?) each one having their own unqiue means of battle being luck,exploration,pokemon fighting on their own, rentel pokemon, a tournament, battles and something ( i forget what this facility did xD ) If these make a return in omega ruby and alpha sapphire what would you like to see changed/ what would you like to see return? do you think it will return at all? any speculation please post it. feel free to also post about your own experiences with the battle frontier.

I myself just want the battle brains to appear atleast once before we battle them maybe they can sit in the lobby the first time you walk in. I still haven't seen 5 out of the seven battle brains in game.

I played a little in the Emerald Battle Frontier like 7 years ago so i hope it returns, my IV bred and EV trained pokemon in my Y version are going to have some fun there.

I really hope the Frontier makes a return. I only ever managed to get the Silver from the Battle Pike and the maybe Battle Dome, I don't really remember, but I did really like the Dome and mostly used that facility because it was just so cool with the tournament and all that. So I hope that makes a return. That Battle Factory was also pretty cool~

As for the other facilities, either I suck, or they were too damn hard (Why are my Pokemon terrible at fighting by themselves?! I hate Lax Nature so much!), so...hopefully ORAS will help me determine that. It will also be cool to see how all this transitions in 3D~

Lucy and brandon are the only ones i ever managed I'm still trying to beat this ***** again right now in emerald and her shuckle walls everything >_< but i have a solution metagross ma ha ha.

But i really want to see this place in 3d its one of my favorite parts of hoenn.

This feature is the deal breaker for me. If it's not in the game, I'm not buying OR/AS (it wouldn't be worth much more than X/Y without it). It was my absolute favourite thing in any pokemon game to date, and I'm desperately hoping for it to return! The different battle modes were genius, and I really want to play in them again, this time with the improved battle mechanics and wider variety of pokemon.

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be included, though, so I think I'm safe!

What I loved about Emerald's Battle Frontier is how expansive it was; just exploring it was a lot of fun (stumbling across the Sudowoodo tree is a great memory, it was a really nice throwback at the time). Would love to not only see it again but have more to explore there.

Yeah. I wouldn't mind actually if they added another cave or something, maybe take the main Battle Frontier and add on a route or two extending from it or maybe another couple small islands to surf to. Maybe some more rare pokemon, another couple little side quests... heck, maybe even add some kind of PWT a la B2W2 onto the main Battle Frontier. More to do the better. I just hope, at the same time, that it somehow retains the atmosphere and feel of the original.

Adding the PWT there as well would be a fantastic addition! (And maybe the Skyscraper/treehollow could be on one of the other islands you mention?)

And I'm definitely not expecting it, but it'd be great to see a couple more facilities with novel battling styles.

I could see Mega Evolutions being incorporated to the rosters. I do find it unlikely that they'd restrict 6 Frontier Brains (and 12 total teams, barring Noland's rentals) to Pokemon from only half the total number of generations.

So do you mean someone like Greta having a Mega-Heracross and a Mega-Gengar?

I hope that Megas aren't allowed in the BF. I think that they'd be way too relatively powerful for a team of only three pokemon, and they'd limit the variety of teams.

I probably spent 150 hours in Emerald's battle frontier, and I only got 3 symbols. Pyramid and Palace were hard as hell to beat, but Dome was easy as pie. That being said I would love for it to come back, and additional facilities would be fantastic!

I'd actually like to see megas on opponent trainer's teams once you beat the frontier brain twice. We already see legendaries tiered in at about 40 battles in the Maison so adding Megas would add another layer of difficulty and force you to build around things like CharX/Y. They probably would have to be balanced somewhat, especially the likes of Kangaskhan and Blaziken. If you're able to use megas, the CPUs should be able to as well

A facility solely focusing on Inverse Battles would be the best thing ever and it would be enough to make me buy the game.

They'll most likely make it easier which is upsetting.
BUT IF NOT, Gen IV, V and VI rentals in the Factory yo, and I hope they'll put the PWT in there too.

its after game they have no reason to make it easier. The battle maison is still pretty difficult the AI is really smart and strong.

the only part i want made easier is getting to the battle brain how many times in a row do i have to beat the battle dome before i can fight tucker damn
