This is a two-volume manga by Viz, with each manga about a certain main character from the manga. The first volume is about Red and the second volume is about Yellow. I don't know what's in it, but I can only guess by the "Best of" title that it contains the best chapters from the manga that concern those two characters. I suppose they would be chapters from the only seven volumes Viz published. Or for all we know, this could be something new. They will be $7.99 US each. Red's volume comes out in October and Yellow's in December.

I wonder if Viz is planning on re-publishing the manga and maybe continuing from where they left off. With these two volumes and Pikachu's ani-manga, I hope so.

By the way, the Viz site only shows the cover for the first volume. Amazon mentions both volumes, but they use other volumes for their pictures.

I'm guessing this will be a trial run, to see if Pokemon manga still sells well.

An unflipped Ono rerelease wouldn't hurt, either...

Yes! Finnaly manga in America!

We may see other ones coming as well if they sell good, we also got a translated CoroCoro comic in Nintendo Power.

I hope they do use this as an excuse to republish the Adventures manga. It's impossible to get the third volume these days... It'd be nice if they reprinted the back catalogue then moved on to catching up with Special.

I wonder if this had anything to do with PUSA....

Amazon.com only takes credit cards.

The cheapest you can get Vol 3 on .co.uk is £50 and there aren't any to get.

:p

I think its really great that we finnaly have a manga that is in america and that is very independent for the main character within the book itself, i think this will help to bring pokemon back in to perspective for more people to see, hear, and talk about.

Great info thanks for the Post!!

It'd be nice if they released all of Den-Geki Pikachu together in one huge graphic novel, uncut.
