First of all, I'm going to tell you what's making me happy. The Republicans are getting their asses kicked. They're slated to lose the House and could lose the Senate. DeVos is spending money like a drunken sailor but Granholm is keeping him at arms length. I'm happy about this. It's about damn time.

And what makes me nervous. The fact we haven't reached the elections yet. There are still two more months for these Republican bastards to pull some shit off and steal yet another election.

And with that out of my system...I'm mad. I'm mad at the Republican leaders. I've grown up in an atmosphere in which my opinions as a liberal are belittled, mocked and called treason.

One of the latest examples is Rumsfeld getting up and saying that I'm an appeaser to the Isalmic fascists. First of all, the terrorists aren't fascists, they're fundamentalists. I'll get back to fascism and where the real fascists are.

I'm an appeaser? I don't want our troops to be killed in the crossfire of a civil war engineered by the failure of our foreign policy and I'm an appeaser? I say let them kill each other. They're going to fight their civil war whether our troops are there or not. The only difference is the body count which would lower if we weren't there. That's not appeasement, that's knowing when you should cash in your chips.

I don't appease terrorists. I hate the terrorists. I blame the terrorists for keeping these bastards in power. And I don't appease them by living my life as if 9/11 never happened. Because that's what hurts them, not wire tapping 50 million Americans, not declaring war on a country that had nothing to do with 9/11, but by not being afraid. I tell them to FUCK OFF!

Let's come back here and talk about one of my pet peeves, racism. What kind of an SOB belittles another man because he's not white especialy in public? Damnit, I thought we had evolved beyond this. I thought America would unify in these years in which we're under "constant threat" by those who want to destroy us. No, good old American Bigotry is alive and well. All Americans are equal but some Americans are more equal than others.

Another one of my pet peeves are what Christianity is being turned into here. Whatever happened to the teachings of Jesus CHRIST (hence CHRISTanity)? Whatever happened to blessed are the meek, turn the other cheek, and taking care of the least among us? They've been replaced with end of days obssessed "Muscular Christianity" in which the teachings of Jesus are ignored and the first and last books of the Bible are the only ones that count. The Republicans can then take these yahoos and rile them over abortion, gay marriage, stem cell research, and evolution. It's an insult to God.

I said I'd get back to fascism and I will. Do you know where the real fascists are? They're right here. They're the Republican leadership. At it's core, the modern day Republican party has become a fascist regime. Look up fascism and compare it to the current Republican leadership, they fit the definition to almost the point of it being a cliche. Fascism is a government system in which the elite make out like bandits and the public gets fucked in the ass.

I'm mad, I've been mad at this farce for the past six years. More than 7,000 Americans have died needlessly under absolute Republican control. That's right, 7,000 men, women, and children would be alive right now if it wasn't for this "Culture of Life".

I'll NEVER vote for the modern Republican party. They lost my vote when they impeached Clinton because he got a blowjob and didn't want to talk about. Bush has been allowed to get away with murder.

I'll try to end this on a positive note. I love America. I love her cities and farms and people and the principles on which this glorious nation was founded. I hate those who would do any of it wrong whether enemies from without or within.

God Bless American and may this nation once again be the bastion of liberalism it was founded to be.

Once that happens though, don't expect anything to get any better, because of the push for socialized healthcare and universal preschool, as well as an agenda to eventualy force everyone to go to college (also outlawing unskilled labor once and for all) The Dems also preach the same globalist bullshit as Bush and the NeoCon Gang (with Gramhole's pushing of globalist one-size fits all curriclum requirements for all high schoolers regardless of whether or not they'll go on to college-read earlier in this post-Bush (who called for one-size-fits-all academcis in the State of the Union Address) and DeVos also support this act of CommuNaziism, as well as taking away childhood civil liberties (so much for their opposition to the PATRIOT ACT) through mandatory full-day kindergarten and raising the dropout age)

For one thing, there's no way in hell I'm voting for either Granholm nor DeVos this November.
Both Gramhole and DeVos support:
-Stringent seatbelt and motorcycle helmet enforcement, taking away resources from law enforcement to focus on cracking down on real crime.
-Discrimination on basis of race and gender in university admissions
-Raising the dropout age to 18 and mandatory kindergarten
-Attacking small business by unneccesary regulations, while giving big corporations breaks and exemptions
-Michigan Merit high school curriculm requirements
-Minimum wage increase
and finally...
-Continuing to make government bigger

I think government's main duties are to protect the people and environment of America. Not to enforce religious values, scare people, and endorse torture.
Consumer protection must be held in high value. The Republicans are too blinded to see that business can thrive while under regulation. Allowing businesses to dump poisonous products into the same water people dirnk and bathe in is both stupid and malicious. Allowing businesses to endanger consumers may make our leaders party to murder.

Because they continue to accept war as an appropriate solution. War is almost never the right path. Why are we pumping 500 billion dollars each year into our military? We have the largest military budget in the world, yet we face no threat great enough to warrant that much. Cutting it in half would free up tons of money, which could be used for two things: establishment of a National Health System, and more funding for NASA.
