I'm sadly dissapointed in the fact that this section is called "The Geeks Corner," and yet there isn't a thread for this awesome piece Geeky wonderfulness. I mean, seriously, I can't be the only person here who loves this show.
 
I love the show, but due to scheduling issues, I ended up missing half of last season and I'm just now getting it in reruns. Definitely good and very funny.
 
I like the show alot, and the actual theory is very interesting once you think about it.
 
I watch it just for Jim Parsons. He's brilliant. Gotta love Sheldon.
 
It's a brilliantly creative show, and earns points for being daring enough to go by a name that would garner as much attention as The Big Bang Theory.
 
One thing I LOVED is how in one episode they had Sheldon playing Mario 64 and, instead of using the generic 8-bit sounds you usually hear (like in that one commercial), they actually used the authentic Bowser Level music and even the actual pause menu sound. I just found that to be extremely cool and a nice attention to detail.

Then in another episode, when their video games were stolen, they listed the most mainstream games ever all in a row which kind of bugged me. It was all Mario, Zelda, and Halo. :/
 
I love that show. They started showing it here this summer, and every week I can't wait for Tuesday to come to catch another two episodes! Gotta love that Sheldon. The others are actually just as great, but Sheldon is simply ... well, Sheldon.
 
One of my favorite shows of all time. Has anybody here seen the un aired pilot from 2006? In its continuity, Sheldon had had sex! Penny didn't exist and her counterpart wasn't their neighbor. They met her on the street (she wasn't a hobo though) and took her home. Also, she was played by Amanda Walsh. Blegh.

I'm glad they altered it to what it is today...
 
The Big Bang Theory is definitely my favorite show. I absolutely love Sheldon. He is just simply brilliant and an amazing character. Can't wait for season 4.
 
i laugh whenever sheldon says something verrrrrry loooong to penny.
 
Started airing on tv today. I'm actually watching the first episode right now.
 
I recently got the Season 2 DVD set. A poor decision since I'm unemployed and living on a very small fixed monthly income, but one that I don't regret in the slightest. My absolute favorite moment so far was in the episode where Penny goes on her second date with the guy who runs the comic book store, and while they're making out, she accidentally calls him Leonard. The ending was just hysterical:

Penny: "Hey Leonard, can you pass me the [Insert random food item here]."
Leonard: "Oh, I'm sorry, were you talking to me?"
Penny: "Yeah, I said your name didn't I?"
Leonard: "Yes you did." ;D

I was cracking up at that scene.
