Diamond! It's got more of my favorite Pokemon, for example Skunpoo and Diaglia (not sure of correct spelling).

There aren't really that many exclusives between the two, y'know. Not for new Pokemon anyway (and since you can get all the old Pokemon from the GBA games, they don't really matter). It's really just the fossils, Sukapuu/Glameow, their evos and Dialga/Palkia. There's the Misdreavus and Murkrow's evos but of course you can just trade in a Misdreavus and Murkrow for those anyway.

I guess probably, the only one that actually matters is Dialga/Palkia.

I'd say the majority of people will go for Diamond though - the dominant name always sells best. My vote doesn't really count as I'll have Pearl in Japanese and Diamond in English but if it helps, I bought them this way around specifically to have Diamond as my main game for proper play.

I'll be grabbing both. Diamond first, then Pearl (if I don't have the cash for both when they get released).

I usually get the one I think'll be the least popular, but Diamond appeals to me more this gen.

I like to get as many pink/purple things as possible without appearing gay, and Palkia counts, so I'm going with Pearl.

Pearl. Palkia's crazy peppermint arms just win.

Plus, I have friends that plan on getting Diamond. This way, we can help each other get the National Dex without using Global Trade too much.

I'll get both.
And whenever the third member of the DP video game saga comes out, it'll be the trio, just like the RSE trio

Ill take whatever I can get, But if I have a choice I will be getting Pearl. (Just because the dude on the cover looks cooler than the other IMO.)

Pearl. There's no real reason, though. I just decided when the games were first announced, without knowing what Pokemon were in each version, that I'd get Pearl. :>
