Put me in! The Tales games are starting to get into my cooltastic video game series of all the time (along with EarthBound and King Of Fighters). Tales Of Symphonia is sucking my soul right now... That game has a lot of everthing!

Well, now that wa got two members, its time for a topic.

Who's your favorite ToS charatcter, and why?

Mine is ovbiously Colette. :O

She's severly underrated, in both charater personality and battle. She's so attached to Lloyd beacause he's th only one who treated her like a human instead of a freak of nature thought her childhood (ZOMG! LloydxSheena Consparicy! :O).

Her AI sucks, but if you master her battle sytle, she can be a great asset to combos and support.

Well, when I started to play ToS I felt a big hatred towards Colette as she seemed useless and annoying, but I changed my mind about her recently as I found that she's extremely fun to fight as for her funny looking attacks (I always laugh so hard when I use Item Thief/Rober and I kill the enemy in the process, Colette is the first character I have ever seen defeating foes by... tripping on them).

Anyways, my favorite charater is Presea. Not only because she's ultimately cute and strong, but also I find myself a bit indentified with her as she's quite, timid and lonely. Oh, and she gets to poke Corrine and Noishe and use the mighty Pow Hammer DX!!! She actually has a fun side after all!

I admit, I'm another one of those people who isn't 100% fond of Colette. Don't get me wrong, she's really adorable and all! But to me, she sort of paled in comparison to the rest of the cast. I respect her complete devotion to her task, however - I think her willingness to do whatever it would take to save her world was very impressive.

... Presea killed me with awesome with those Paw skits. And the Klonoa costume. Oh god, I never changed her title after getting that costume. *_*;

Hrm. My favourite character is Noishe, but that's just because he's really cute and his whining always looks so pathetic, so you just want to pat him on the head and give him lots of love. :x To answer the question seriously, though, I'd have to say my favourite was Raine. She's the healer that's prone to violence, she's an archeologist-of-sorts who acts like a kid in a candy store when she gets within ten miles of any ruins, and she managed to have her moments of angst without totally dragging down the plot. :x *coughs*

And her formal costume was real purdy, too. :<

Kratos of course. I don't like his ending/the incredibly lame reason why he has to stay behind, but I luurv him anyway.

I like Zelos and Yuan too.

Colette, not really a fan. I don't hate her or anything, but out of the whole cast of main characters I find her to be the most annoying. Am I biased for liking Lloyd x Sheena? I dunno. But she uses Holy Judgment. That's teh coolio.

I'm hoping we'll get Tales of the Abyss, though. The characters in that are awesome. Tear~~♥

I heard Tales of the Tempest was coming out on DS and Tales of Eternia is coming out on PSP. Are both of those coming to America?

I'm going for the Zelos ending right now, but I haven't even beaten all the seals yet. I barely got Sheena. I should be going to the Asgard ranch, but right now I'm just running around destroying monsters for no reason.

Sheena's affection is easy to level up.

Large heads and little bodies? ... yeah, that's ToL exactly. XD;

Uhm... I'm not sure about either of the portable games. There's currently a rumour going around that ToT may-or-may-not be related to the game Tales of Rebirth - which the US didn't (and probably won't =/) get. So if ToL is really closely connected with ToR, we probably won't see it.

It's a totally unconfirmed rumour, though. So maybe if Nintendo pushes at Namco again (like they did with Symphonia and Phantasia), we might have a chance to get ToT~

As for ToE-PSP, I believe Ubisoft is publishing it in Europe. No word on a US release, but we've already gotten the original version of the game (for PS1, as "Tales of Destiny II"), and, if you really wanted the PSP version, there's always importing. o_o

Who's your favorite ToS charatcter, and why?

Zelos. He's truly the epitome of ToS's comic relief. Both his arrogance and pevertness really crack me up. Not only that, but he has a very interesting and well developed backstory, one of the best ones in the entire game. Plus, he's pretty damn sexy and is great to use in battle.

Besides Zelos, I adore Genis, Yggdrasill/Mithos, Yuan, and Botta. I also like Sheena, Regal, and The Five Desian Grand Cardinals a lot.

What's your favorite scene in ToS?

Amongst my favorites, I like the scene where you meet Zelos. So many quoteables.

Genis: What an ASS.

Lloyd: Leave her alone, Genis. She's obviouly never looked in a mirror before.

Yeah, the scene where you first meet Zelos is good. It really made me ROFL the first time I watched it As for my favorite, I quite like the scene where you go back to Sylvarant via the Otherworldly Gate. The scene at the end of Disk 1 is really cool, too.

Genis saying Zelos was an ass deserves an honorable mention though. And the part where Lloyd is like "I've lost all confidence as a man" was awesome.

And Sheena's dinner party scene. I laugh at Lloyd's stupidity.

How could I forget the Hot Spring scene? That was priceless. Oh, and the scene before you fight Yggdrasill for the second time is awesome, as is the one where Zelos betrays you.
