The Story's Premise

Long ago, Pokemon told of the Convocars, six people that shared a deep bond with the Legendaries. These six beings possessed a ring and a magical instrument that allowed them to summon and use their Legendary's power. A thousand years ago, the Convocars summoned Ho'oh to drive away a geat evil that threatened to engulf the world, but many years later, a mysterious organization threatens the balance again, and Ash and his friends find themselves awakened as six new Convocars.

Can they master their new powers and save the world by summoning Ho'oh

What is a Convocar?

In the story's world, a Convocar (taken from the Spanish word for "summon") is someone who shares a deep bond of friendship with a Pokemon, and can therefore summon it by means of drawing its sign or playing a special song after saying the particular Pokemon's incantation (In Ash's case, this is "Windy god, strike enemies silent! Lugia!") Some strong Convocars do both, saying the invocation as they draw the sign, then playing the song. Once the sign is drawn, the Convocar transforms into a more powerful state to tap into powers granted to them by their Pokemon.

Ash, Diamond Convocar

After summoning Lugia during a storm one night, Lugia grants Ash a diamond ring so that he can tap into light magic (usually having to do with the moon and, oddly enough, rainbows) As the leader of the Champions of the Five Regions (as Brock deems the group), it is his job to keep tabs on the Shadow Order and their sinister plans. His color is silver, and his bond with Lugia grants him invincibility

Some of his powers (to be updated):

Glowing Illusion--His basic defensive move, this spell blinds his foes with a bright flash of rainbow light.

Starlight Arrow--fires a silver arrow of light at an opponent

Diamond Shield--encloses himself and any allies inside a silver shell of diamonds

Moon Dust--Lugia sprays silver dust on the opponents, putting them to sleep

Cleansing Light (Nhinor Pol)--Ash instructs Lugia to engulf an area in silver light, healing any beings and restoring damaged or destroyed locations in that area. Brock can sing to strengthen the spell.

Moonbeam Mirage--His basic offensive move, this fires beams of silver light at opponents

Silver Mirror--Ash instructs Lugia to create a silver ball that reflects opponent's attacks back at them

Rainbow Shower--Ash's desperation attack--he channels his feelings into rainbow colored raindrops, which then fall on the enemies.

Diamond Storm--Ash and Lugia combine their power to send a wave of diamonds on their foes

Silver Blaze--Ash instructs Lugia to charge foward, knocking opponents backwards

Diamond Knuckle--Lugia covers Ash's hand in diamonds, which he then uses to throw a light tinged punch--especially effective on Ghost Pokemon.

Celestial Blade--forms a sword of silver light, which he uses to fight with

Rainbow Flash--His ultimate move, this engulfs his opponents in rainbow light

Meet Biddy

Biddy is the mascot/guardian Pichu for the team, the latest in a long line of Pichus from the sky that protected the Convocars. (Her true name is Bridget, but Ash just called her Biddy as a cute nickname and it stuck--she will answer to either name, but at first, only Ash and Brock are deemed worthy of calling her Biddy) Initially shy, she takes her job as guardian seriously. (she is the "Luna" of the team, to use an existing magical girl analogy). However, she does have a curious and playful side, and often invents names for things she doesn't know the name for (or do not exist in the sky world).

For example, Ash's whistle is named a "bird's flute" (because of its similarity in sound to a similar instrument used to summon birds in the sky world), and Brock's guitar is deemed a "chord-harp" (harps are the only plucked stringed instruments in the sky world--so when Brock explains the concept of chords to her, it gets its nickname.)

Brock, Emerald Convocar:

The group encounters Celebi deep in Viridian Forest surrounded by Shadow Acolytes. In desperation, Celebi screams, awakening the dormant power in Brock's ring and granting him the ability to sing in Aranya, an ancient language once spoken by Legendary Pokemon, and used by some Convocars and others with magic power to converse with the Legendaries. In Brock's case, he can damage enemies and heal or buff allies.

Some of his powers(to be updated):

Emerald Missile--sprays emeralds at his opponent

Sunshine Beam--he fires a stream of yellow light from his finger like a laser, similar to a Solarbeam attack

Gaia Blade--creates a green sword of earth energy for him to fight with

Serenade of Love--sings a love song that charms enemies and strengthens allies (his songs are most effective in Aranya, but any language will work)

Gaia's Voice--unleashes a hypersonic scream that shatters glass (and glass-like material) and damages opponents. Allies are not harmed by it.

Silent Song--sings a hypnotic melody that seals the opponent's powers

Dancing Leaves--surrounds the targets in a large tornado of leaves

Hypnotic Aria--sings a beautiful song that allows him to command the target for a short time--the hypnosis will only work when he is singing.

Dancing Sakura--a more powerful version of Dancing Leaves that engulfs the opponents in cherry blossom petals

Jewel of Chance--Brock's desperation attack--he throws an emerald from the bag at his side skyward, which will then damage the foe with a random elemental effect, heal him and his allies, or both, to name a few possible effects. He can request a specific effect to occur before throwing the emerald.

Mystic Melody--he sings a strange melody that confuses any foe that hears it

Rallying Cry--sings a holy melody that revives any fallen ally and heals living allies completely

Fight Song--sings an inspiring song that strengthens any ally that hears it

Verdant Melody--Brock's ultimate attack--he commands various flowers to surround him, then sings a hypnotic melody that sends all the different colored petals at the foe

The Aranya Language:

Grammar wise, Aranya is mainly a blend of Spanish, Gaelic, Japanese and Italian, (with smatterings of other languages) and sounds similar to the Hymmnos language used in the Ar tonelico series.

To begin performing in Aranya, Brock must invoke Celebi a second time after transforming (unlike his transformation and attack incantation, this one is different--"Soul of the forest, protect me! Celebi!" If there is a group with him, this incantation becomes "Soul of the forest, protect us!). He gains temporary invincibility while performing, as Celebi's time magic surrounds him in an aura of green light.

If he has a specific song in mind, these have incantations of their own.

Some examples of Aranya:

My name is Brock--Je newa al Burakku (jeh ni-wah ahl boo-rah-koo)
What's your name?--Spechs in newa? (Spehcks een ni-wah?)
Hello--Garcee (Gahr-cheh)
Nice to meet you--Nonda wee jeechs ia (Nahn-da weh jehcks eeya)
Goodbye--Shuena (Shoo-eh-nah)

I really have nothing to say....I've already expressed emotions and input for this story.

Awesome. Can't wait to see that. Also, check out my blog or note me on dA. I have this idea and want to but it on paper.....it's vague but i got it.

Not like I expected. I was thinking more like the= and sad= something like that. But thats ok...

Lyra, Amethyst Convocar

The Amethyst Convocar is unique in that they can command two Pokemon--the twin dragons Latios and Latias. But which one has the deeper bond with them depends on the gender of this Convocar--Latios if a boy, and Latias if a girl. The group found Latias on the run from Shadow Acolytes and protected her. Latios was grateful for someone rescuing his sister, and awakened the dormant wind powers in Lyra's ring. Her bond with both Latis grants her two powers--Latios' telepathy and Latias' teleportation.

Her powers (to be updated):

Tempest Circle--She draws a ring of purple light around her, which then transforms into a tornado and consumes anything in the way

Luster Purge--Lyra taps into Latios' power to create a blue blade of air, which then cuts into her opponents

Mist Ball--Lyra instructs Latias to form a massive ball of air that ultimately releases a blue mist that puts enemies to sleep

Mystic Bell--Lyra rings the Amethyst Bell to call Latias to her

Dragon's Eyes--Lyra instructs Latias to find a specified person or object

Lati Talon--Lyra instructs Latias to fire her talons like arrows

Breezy Boomerang--Lyra forms a blade of air that returns to her after hitting the target

Astral Laser--Lyra's desperation attack--Lyra merges her spirit with Latios and Latias, creating a bright purple laser

Zephyr Blade--forms a purple sword of wind energy she uses to fight with

Amethyst Mandala--Lyra's ultimate attack--she and both Latis combine their power to create a large circle of wind and purple light that engulfs anything in the target area below

Ethan, Topaz Convocar

The group comes to Ecruteak to find the Shadow Order trying to get inside the Burned Tower and capture the Beasts. In the commotion, Entei and Suicune escape, but Ethan is angry that the Shadow Order would desecrate the tower. Raikou watches as Ethan single-handedly fights off the Shadow Acolytes. When the dust settles, Raikou is touched at Ethan's sense of honor, and awakens the power in his ring, awakening him as a Convocar and granting him the ability of super speed

His powers (to be updated):

Sparkling Thunder--Combines a yellow beam of light from his ring and Raikou's thunder to create an electrical explosion

Lightning Whip--Generates a whip made from electricity and lashes anything in his or Raikou's way

Energy Ball--Ethan instructs Raikou to leave glowing yellow balls of lightning that explode when stepped on or crushed

Shocking Mist (Ponor Joth)--Ethan instructs Raikou to breathe a cloud of pale yellow mist that paralyzes any foe caught in it. Brock can sing to strengthen it.

Thunder Fang--Ethan instructs Raikou to bite a target

Rhythm of Thunder--Ethan performs a Rhythm of Power to temporarily call Zapdos into battle-- when his beat is combined with Brock's song, it can calm agitated or distressed Electric Pokemon

Lightning Blade--Forms a yellow blade of lightning energy, which he uses to fight with.

Electric Aurora--Ethan fires many colored thunderbolts from his fingers. Raikou can strengthen the bolts as well.

Thunder Mirage--Ethan's ultimate attack-creates six copies of Raikou, all of which fire a massive thunderbolt at the foe
