Bonjour one and all! We're so happy you've taken the opportunity this week to join us here in the Lumiose Museum for our Bulbagala! We're gonna be starting things within just a couple of days. This thread will be where each of the themes and responding submissions will be posted

Once a round starts, you will have 24 hours to post an outfit of your trainer that matches the day's theme, using only one of the games you initially signed up with (though you can use your other game in other rounds obviously). It doesn't matter if it's a direct in-game screenshot, or a shot of the screen itself! Just make sure images over 1000 x 1000 pixels are within dedicated collapsed spoiler tabs (transferred Switch screenshots by default go beyond this, so may be best to spoiler tab them by default).

Submissions for the first theme will be open on Monday, November 24th at 1PM UTC (less than 31 hours from now)

Bonjour and Bonsoir!! Today is the first day of The Bulbagala! The doors to the museum are open and the Meowthwalk is ready for your outfits~

Today the theme is: In the Gardens of Parfum Palace.

Parfum Palace was built by the King of Kalos three centuries ago after a war with neighboring regions. It was built as a monument to the King's victories in wartime and as a place to entertain guests in their gorgeous ballrooms. It is also well known for its beautiful, well maintained gardens that remain a popular tourist destination to this day.

Now we ask you, if you were to be invited to the court of Parfum Palace as a guest to the King, what would you wear to meet him? Of course, you wouldn't stroll up to Parfum Palace wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt would you? We are asking that you join us in formal attire, something that would impress the royal court, or other members of high society.

Unsure what that could mean? Fret not, we have prepared some examples for you here. You may use these to guide your own outfits:

Bonsoir, Mesdames et Messieurs~ Here's my submission! As a Kalosian woman IRL, I'm going to do my best to show everyone the best outfits possible! I was really desperate not to default to a "clearly defined set" (ie, the one given to you during the main story) and to make sure I could still get the masc vibes I wanted out of it. Once again, I wish I had jewelry. I would kill to spice this up with some big chunky rings, or additional piercings that don't clash too severely with the style at play here. (Lightning Earrings my beloathed. I love you. But I hate you.)

Also...hi! This is the first time I've ever gotten to make a protagonist who's me. At least, after I figured out who I really am. You'll see at least one other Z-A player character from me; I don't edit facial features beyond makeup for the sake of an outfit. Sometimes hairstyles will change, but not always.

i went for more of a princely/ouji lolita kind of look. it was hard to think of how to follow the prompt without being boring or generic, but i'm happy enough with this. (everyone else did a good job of doing something unique too)

I believe Parfum Palace was constructed 300 years prior to X & Y, so hoping that lines up with Legends Arcues (it probably doesn't but let me headcanon) I assume Hisuian emissaries, or representatives would dress in garb, appropriately formal for the momentous occasion of being invited, but also drawing inspiration from the lifeblood of their region, the Pokémon of course! If that was me, this is how I'd dress! (sorry if I end up yapping, I'm the type of person who likes to put stories behind everything)

Didn't really think about the potential annoyance of trying to take photos in this game ngl. Nonetheless, I think she looks nice

(Edit: Small side note, but I've just noticed that the games I have in the sign up thread are wrong-- my other game is Arceus, not Z-A.)

Today the theme is: The Jetset: The Pokémon World of Fashion

The Pokémon world is expansive with several regions. Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Alola, Galar, Paldea, Kitakami, our very own Kalos. And the list just goes on! Of course, each of these region sees travel from residents of other regions. Whether they bring their regions fashion with them or try to match in with the local fashion, there's guaranteed to be style abound.

With this in mind, where would you travel next? We want to see you with outfits based on visiting another region different than the game you're curating the outfit in.

Like before, we have examples set up for inspiration. You may use these to help outline yours:
