The chronicles: Kanto​

The Pokemon World is full of things to discover. Every person finds their own calling and it is up to them to heed to that call. Some decide to become trainers and earn the respect of Pokemon and traimers alike through rigorous battling while some may decide to become coordinators to show the elegant side of Pokemon.

Whatever it is it is bound to take the person on a hard and tiring journey. A journey full of adventure, happiness and sorrow. A journey where a person bonds with Pokemon and other people to form strong bonds of friendship. Thus, each person looks forward to start their own journey not knowing what fate has in store for them.

These are the chronicles of a group of trainers. This particular episode chronicles the journey of the trainers through Kanto.

Rules:

-no Godmodding
-I am aware that summer is almost over and people may not be as active as they were in the summer; however, I want to emphasize that whoever joins the RP is expected to be active and get to post at least a few times every day, if not more frequently.
-This RP is going to be more like a democracy. I will have all the members debate on important issues related to the RP and in most cases what the majority says will go (of course there will be times where I will say the final word on a matter)
-Put "Besiktas" somewhere in your SU to indicate that you have read the rules.
-Since this is Kanto, I'd prefer thst not too many Unova Pokemon appear. However, as long as the capture and the ara caught is reasonable, then you can catch the Pokemon.

Appearance: Gray stands at average height and is in good shape for a fourteen year old boy. His messy brown hair hangs just above his shoulders and reaches down to his ocean blue eyes.

Gray is usually seen wearing a dark red hoody with grey stripes going across it, a plain white t-shirt and black jeans with a pair of white and black skate shoes. He carries a white and blue messenger bag that carries all his necessities such as Pokeballs and potions etc.

Personality: Gray is friendly, social and open. He practically lives for friendship, lively company and good conversation. He has great confidence in his opinions but respects those who disagree.

Laid-back and open minded with a great sense of humour, Gray is generally popular and is liked by most people that he meets. He is usually helpful and feels guilty saying no to those close to him.

History: Gray lived a luxurious but ordinary life in Celadon City, being pretty spoilt by his rich parents but he never took anything for granted and always appreciated what he was given. He lived in a pretty big house, but not big enough to be considered a mansion and went to a private school that taught the essentials to battling, travelling and being a good trainer.

Gray was about eight years old when he started at the private school and he was given the choice out of five different Pokemon eggs and would have to care for it until it hatched and whatever was inside would be his. After about a week or so, the egg hatched into a male Magby which he then named Pyro. Since then the two have been pretty much inseparable.

A few days after his fourteenth birthday his family had received bad news from the police force that his older brother, Robert, had gone missing. It was that day that Graham decided he would go out and search for his brother. He never told his parents why he was actually leaving and they believed he was just going on a normal journey.

I'd like to join a Journey RP here! I've hardly even done a Kanto one and the only one I ever did, ended at Misty's gym. I do have classes from 12-6pm(Mon-Thur) and I don't get back till like 7.

Appearance: Justin is about 5"6' and he has a fairly slender body. He has a fair skin tone, short blond hair, and green eyes. He is often seen wearing a pair of brown cargo shorts, as well as a red tshirt with white sleves and black trims. He also wears a pair of red wristbands.

Personality: Justin is shown to be a fairly outgoing and adventurous trainer, often acting friendly towards others. He's shown to be a paticularly caring trainer towards his friends(who he's always willing to help) and especially his Pokemon. Despite his friendly and outgoing character, he is shown to be fairly impulsive and paranoid at times. He also often takes the words of others to heart, and will even hold grudges for a long time.

History: Justin is the son of the Ecruteak City Gym Leader, Morty as well as a world renowned chef Rosalina. He grew up watching his father fight other trainers, looking to get their Fog Badge. He also grew up admiring his older brother Tyler who happens to be one of the most powerful trainers in all of Johto. He often feels like he's living in the shadows of his family.

At the age of 10 he was sent to a Pokemon Academy in Johto by his parents upon his request. He wished to learn how to battle so he'd already have all the basic knowledge when he'd begin. Once he graduated from the academy he felt he was ready enough, though his mother wouldn't let him begin, fearing that he'd be in danger with Team Rocket on the loose, and another rather small criminal organization, known as D-Generation M.

After a year and no news was heard about the two gangs, his mother finally let him travel. He decided he'd go to Kanto. He is looking forward to getting his first Pokemon and he really wants to take on the league.

Thank you for the SU. You can change Cyndaquil to Oshawott as it is a traditional starter so it is normal that Professor Oak be in possession of one of them.

Appearence:Hailey is quite tall for her age. She likes to wear leggings under jean skirts with colorful tops with matching scarves. She has long dirty blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes. She rarely uses make-up and she usually wears her hair in a pony tail.

Personality:She quiet stubborn when it comes to talking about the future leauge champion possibilities.(unless it involves her) She is really passionate with pokemon and sometimes to people. She's really strong in personality and you can tell when she's in love because she just can't hide it. Around a bunch of boys is no biggie for her but it depends if she thinks their cute.

History:Born and raised in Pewter city,she was unlike any girl in town. Every little girl her age was wanting to grow up and become a famouse contest winner and be the best corrodinater in town! Hailey was different, she dreamed of pokemon on her journey when she grew older.She wanted to be the best of the best of the best and be the leauge champion! Unfortuunetly she learned that a lot more people are also trying for that goal too. So from that day on she promised herself she will try her hardest no matter what to reach that goal.

She met her starter,a charmander when she was taking a walk. She thought of how a charmander from Prof. Oak's lab could end up there! She called in Prof. Oaks's lab and he was over joyed to see the escaped charmander safe. You see he was picked up by the arms by a spearow and somehow mannaged to escape. Prof. Oak recommended that she keep it and start her journey. So thus she start her journey the next day with some other friends.

Appearance: Camille has extremely pale skin, sharp blue eyes, and jet black hair that reaches her shoulders. She wears a black cloth that covers her hair, black scarf which is sometimes seen over her mouth, especially in battle, black short-sleeved dress, black long-sleeved undershirt, black gloves, black leggings, and black shoes. She is rather tall at 5'9", and has a slender yet curvy figure.

Personality: Camille prefers to blend in to the environment, and tries not to be seen. She is rather quiet, yet has no problems with speaking up if need be. Despite her dark, fierce demeanor, she is quite nice, though can be aggressive. Around Pokémon, she is the most peaceful person you'll see.

History: Camille is the youngest in his family. She lived in Castelia City with his family. Her older sister and brother, along with their parents, were brutally killed in a storm when she was 7. She managed to escape with her life, and fled Castelia City, ending up in Nacrene City a few days later. She lived in the wild,away from people, until she turned 10, and headed to Kanto to become a Trainer.

Appearance: Seth is a handsome young man who stands at about 6 feet; He has sandy colored hair that is usually tousled. He has sparkling Hazel eyes, but they seem to be hard to overlook. HE has an average build and a few freckles flitted across his pointed nose.

Seth wears a white V-neck T-shirt, with a red flannel/plaid long sleeve shirt over it, unbuttoned. He wears dark blue skinny jeans along with black Vans. He wears a black visor sometimes. His clothes always have some kind of dirt somewhere.

Personality: Seth is a very rash kind of person. He is very flighty, and he talks very fast. He acts on impulse on almost every occasion. Seth overestimates his strength, while that isn't necessarily bad, it can be a bit of a problem. He is a major bragger, but he can also be very kind and understanding.

Seth does not like it when people are not organized. He always has his priorities in order and he scolds people who don't. He has a biased opinion towards dragon types, and dislikes ice types.

History: Seth was born in Blackthorn city, Johto in the same family as Claire. He wishes to become a dragon master like Claire and Lance, so he decided to travel to kanto and start his journey with the Bagon his mother gave him. He has an older sister named Roxy who is traveling johto for all the gym badges, Roxy and Seth plan on meeting up to battle after becoming dragon masters. Seth wants to become the ultimate dragon master and take Lance's role as Champion, and he is willing to do anything for that position..

Before Seth received Bagon, he had never battled with a pokemon before. It took a very long time for Seth and Bagon to master Dragonbreath, but when they finally did; it was time to go challenge the gyms! Seth excitedly left home with enthusiasm.

Starter Pokémon: Abra (Male)--It shall know one egg move to ease things up

Appearance: AC is 190 cm (which is about 6'2'') and weighs around 82 kg (approximately 180.7 lbs). He has messy, medium length hair. His hair is pitch-black and his hair is quite bushy. His irises are also pitch-black. He does not have any facial hair nor does he want any. His body has a high fat ratio and low muscle ratio. He is not that well-built, but due to his height he does seem thin compared to his actual weight. The majority of his fat is around his thighs.

As for his clothing the following can be said: He has three different outfits that he is comfortable with it. Before leaving Mossdeep to start his journey, he worked in the Space Center. Thus, he has a white labcoat that reaches his feet. Sometimes he is seen with that white labcoat on. His white labcoat has one large pocket over his heart, which he uses to place pens, important cards and other things. In addition, on both sides of his labcoat, near the thighs, are pockets. He usually keeps them empty but he does sometimes use them to keep his only Pokeball. His second outfit is his sports outfit. It consists of a black hoodie with a white eagle (if you say eagles don't exist in the Pokemon World, then think of it as a White-Black colored Braviary) on the back and black sweatpants with three white stripes running down sides. His third outfit is his black suit. It consists of a black top hat with a white stripe, a black blouse and grey tie, a black tux and black pants with black dress shoes. He plans to use his second outfit during his travels (i.e. travelling from town to town). He plans to use his third outfit during his battles as he believes that he needs to look his best when he battles.

Personality: Both of AC's parents work at the Mossdeep Space Center, thus they are barely ever home. What's more is that AC has a younger brother. Since his parents are rarely home, AC had to look after his brother at a very young age. This thought him to be responsible. Furthermore, it thought him to prioritize as he had sacrifice his free time and play time with his friends in order to look after his brother. He learned that duty came before fun. Moreover, since both his parents are scientists, they gave extreme importance to AC's education. Thus, AC's priority as a child was to learn about mathematics, the sciences and other classes rather than Pokemon. Thus, AC did not have the same experience with Pokemon when compared with most of his peers. Instead, he had intimate relations with books from his father's personal library. This resulted with AC being smarter and wiser compared to his peers. Furthermore, all the studying and his perseverance to keep on studying made him extremely determined. This intelligence and wisdom made him someone who everyone looked up to and came to for advice. He became doubly venerable with his radiating smile. He wanted to reciprocate the love he received from his friends, thus he became extremely generous. All in all, he turned into a leader among his peers. However, like every leader, AC also has tragic flaws. First, he still has a cry-baby streak. He sometimes cries when something doesn't go his way. Sometimes he becomes extremely angry and loses his reasoning skills. He starts to yell and can't calm down. His rage is best compared to volcano erupting, however this rage is quite rare. Furthermore, he is not that close with Pokemon which is troublesome for him but through this journey he desires to resolve that problem.

Personal History: AC was born in Mossdeep City to a family of scientists. Both of his parents worked at the Mossdeep Space Center. Thus, as a toddler, he spent his days in the Space Center alongside his parents. Thus, at a young age, he was exposed to the Space Center and the tasks of scientists. As he grew a bit older, he began to go to school. He would spend the morning in school and the afternoon in the Space Center. Soon, his brother was born and at the age of 8, he was responsible of looking after his newly born brother. Thus, he barely had any time for Pokemon. His life consisted of looking after his brother, going to school and spending time in the Space Center.

However, all his friends spent time with their parents Pokemon. This caused a longing for Pokemon within AC, but he knew that his parents would say that his studies come first. Nevertheless, he decided to ask for a Pokemon for his tenth birthday and to his surprise his parents accepted. His father took AC to a batch of grass to catch him a Pokemon. AC told his father that he wanted an Abra. His father called upon his Alakazam and they began to search for a Ralts. They had started the search for a Ralts around noon and as the sun set on Mossdeep during the summer day, his father still had not found a Abra. He didn't want to let down his son so he promised AC that he would stay up all night looking for the Abra. AC, too, wanted to watch his father catch a Ralts but sleep overcame him and AC went to bed. When he got up to go to school, he was faced with a surprise. Across his bed stood a Ralts. His father had kept his promise and caught a Abra. AC was extremely happy. He ran to the Ralts and hugged him. Abra had taken a liking to AC right away. This was the start of a brand new friendship. It also marked AC's first interaction with actual Pokemon.

However, AC's parents' restrictions prevented him from pursuing his goal to challenge the Pokemon League and travel the various regions of the Pokemon World. He had to first become a scientist as that was his parents' dream. Thus, he and Ralts barely battled but studied together. Sometimes they would practice Abra's moves but that was it. At the age of 13, AC had finished his education. With his intelligence, he began to work as an assistant to the scientists in the Space Center along with his Ralts. After four years of assisting scientists, AC was finally allowed to become an actual scientist in the Space Center. His parents were also proud of him as AC had fulfilled their dreams for him at the age of 17. Thus, they allowed AC to start living independently. AC could finally do what he wanted. He talked with the director and told him how he had always wanted to win the Pokemon League and travel the world meeting new Pokemon along the way. His director was also a trainer once and he could easily empathize with AC. Thus, he allowed AC to pursue his dream as a trainer only if he was to comeback and work at the Space Center once his journey was over. AC accepted without hesitation. Thus, with his Ralts he set out start his journey to become a Champion. Though he had his Abra for seven years, AC and Abra had no battling experience and thus it was as if AC was going to get to know Abra all over again along with meeting new Pokemon. AC consulted his friends Tate and Liza, the gym leaders of Mossdeep City and they told him that the journey would strengthen his bond with his Abra and teach him true friendship. Thus, he decided to start off by meeting Professor Oak and starting his journey in the Kanto region.

I am sorry that I had to reject the remaining two applicants. However, this RP will progress through the other regions and sign-ups will open once again. Also, I am going to ask the accepted RP'ers to confirm their roles in the next 24 hours and that they bear in mind that their confirmation will acknowledge the fact that they accept their responsibility to post a couple of times per day.
