The City between Worlds (Sign Ups still open, RP started)

Background
It may seem hard to believe, but there are lots of worlds. Lots of worlds, next to each other. Like, threads in cloth. Except these worlds connect. So, it's more like, a big elastic band ball.
What I'm trying to say is, there are places where worlds connect together. And eventually, you can come to a place where all these worlds can connect. The City between Worlds. My city. I kinda live here. It's stupid, I know, but it's just like any other city. I own an inn here. Why? Well, there's a surprising amount of traffic coming through, especially recently.

Notes on the City, and how it is entered
The City is entered using portals, rips in reality that appear from time to time, depositing the character in the main square.
There are residents, and your characters can choose to stay here.
In my mind, the city appears to be similar to Venice, canals and all.

Rules
Swearing- Sure
Violence- Alright, but not tons
Sex, drugs and rock and roll- PG-13 on the first two, allowed on the latter.

Character Guildlines
You can use any character you want. Feel free to bring in characters you're using in other RPs, it just adds to the whole different worlds theme. Hell, if you want, have different world incarnations of the same character meeting up. It makes things more interesting... 3 Characters maximum, although more if you ask me nicely. Or friend me on DevArt.

Name:Ragna the Bloodedge

History:When he was young, Ragna lived in a church with his younger siblings Jin and Saya, and was watched over by the sister of one of the Six Heroes. At some point, Saya became very ill and Ragna decided to look after her, and in turn spending less time with his brother. Jin eventually grew jealous of Saya for being able to spend a lot of time with Ragna, and he began to hate her.
Soon after Saya became sick, the church was burnt down by Jin and Terumi Yuuki, who also cut off Ragna's right arm and kidnapped Saya. At some point, Ragna was bitten by a vampire, which turned his right eye red (causing him to become heterochromic) and turned his previously blonde-hair into white. He was later found by Jubei of the Six Heroes where he proceeded to train Ragna on how to control the power of his newly acquired Azure Grimoire which replaced his lost arm and repeatedly stated that although the item was a part of him now, the power was not his to command yet. For the next few years, Jubei trained Ragna to control the power of the Azure, being periodically watched by Rachel, who requested Jubei to take care of him. During the time, he met Taokaka as a child. When his training was at last complete, Ragna had finally come to the decision to depart on his journey. But before the three would part ways, Jubei took Ragna to the burnt down church and handed Ragna two items once belonging to a hero named 'Bloodedge': his jacket and the Blood-Scythe. Feeling the weight of the man that gave hope to the world and the Six Heroes, Ragna finally takes off, his training now complete. He ended up getting lost in different worlds by the many annoying portals hat would suck him in.
Reason for appearing in the city:He got lost.:p
Weapons/Pokemon/Skills/Abilities: his sword,azure grimoire. His hand can also turn into extremely sharp and large claws that can nearly slice through anything. His red eye can also see whether or not someone is lying to him or the people around him.

History: Dimentio's backstory is virtually unknown. However, what is known is that he managed to join Count Bleck's forces, before betraying the Count and attempting to use the Chaos Heart to destroy all worlds. He was thwarted, however, by the four heroes spoken of in the Light Prognosticus. Rumor says that he wrote the Dark Prognosticus, although this is unconfirmed.

Reason for appearing in the city: After being defeated by Mario and company, he found himself at the city. He's now trying to see if he can gather up enough forces and find a way back to enact his revenge against the heroes who had defeated him.

Weapons/Pokemon/Skills/Abilities: He has control over dimensions, the ability to teleport, as well as various other arcane skills, such as offensive spells, a shielding spell, and the ability to create clones of himself. His physical defense is quite frail, though.


Name: Meta Knight

World of Origin: Kirby

History: Meta Knight is also a fairly unknown character, but he does appear to bear many similarities to Kirby. He has challenged to pink puffball to duels in the past, and has thwarted many attempts of domination by many entities.

Reason for appearing in the city: After defeating Galacta Knight, who he had summoned to prove himself the greatest warrior in the galaxy, a portal had appeared. Going into the portal, he found that denizens of many dimensions crossed here. Now that he had found more warriors, he wanted to prove himself better than all of them.

Weapons/Pokemon/Skills/Abilities: He has his sword, Galaxia, which can perform a variety of feats, including beams of energy, and creating tornadoes. His cape can also be used to travel short distances, and can also transform into wings.

Name: Gary Grey
Age: Unknown.
World of Origin: Catching Fireflies RP
Appearence: Tall with fair brown hair and pale white skin. Gary at this present in time, wears a long white overcoat and a black tophat. He has a black shiny cane sword and he has iconic goggles perched on his forehead. His eyes are a murky brown
History: Lots of Gary's earliest history is unknown as he changes identities and moves around quite a lot. However, he is known to currently be residing on a tropical island in the world of Alveus in Catching Fireflies. He is a business man and arms dealer and is renown for his amazing aim with his very own modified pistol and his power to manipulate time and travel via it.
Reason for appearing in the city: He's a business man like i said. His main reason is that he needs to dispose of somebody in the city. However, no one knows which Gary is doing this, past or future, so he may be here in the city, longer than expected.
Weapons/Pokemon/Skills/Abilities: Very good aim with his modified Adduco war pistol and has the power to manipulate time, diving from one time to another. He knows how to barter and has large amounts of wealth at his disposal.

Name: Jeremiah Darius(called Jeremy by everyone)

Age: 15

World of Origin: Catching Fireflies RP.

Appearance: He is...well, a pirate. His left eye, right leg, and left hand have been cut off, and in their place he has an eyepatch, a pegleg, and a slot which his weapon, a bionic arm, and a saber can fill, respectively. He has a pirate hat and swimming trunks, but other than that he has no clothes.

History: Native to Earth, he mysteriously appeared on Alveus along with Jason and Mary. His Fireflies alter ego is currently fighting alongside aformentioned friends and a few others to get back home.

Reason for appearing in the city: To further search for clues to get home.

Weapons/Pokemon/Skills/Abilities: When it comes to weapons, he has a high powered water cannon and a saber. But his main prowess in battle rests with his shape-shifting abilities, which allow him to transform into any animal. He also has dominion over Water, letting him sap it from the terrain and people around him and using it for everyday uses. He can also use said water as a weapon and as a way to refill his main weapon.

Age; 21, now. But she still acts like a little kid :D

World of Origin; Catching Fireflies Part I and II

Appearance; Black hair, sunken eyes, bags. Like most people in Alveus she's a mess. Her hair is short, choppy. Shoulder-length, usually matted with dirt. She appears to never blink, her grey eyes always wide, unmoving. She wears a casual get-up; jeans, a t-shirt and trainers, but her belt is where it's at. Her belt is full of weapons. Grenades, knives, daggers, pistols - it's insane what she can cram in there. Not a good idea to try to fight her unarmed. She also wears a pair of goggles round her neck, for when she has to traverse the more sandy areas and doesn't want said sand in her eyes.

She's somehow managed to get ahold of some hair-dye now though, so her bright, peacock-blue hair tends to be almost a warning sign to anyone wishing to approach her. She looks a bit more presentable now, and her bags have gone.

Of course she's also a lot more hyper.

...she's also gotten ahold of some bright-blue contacts too.

She's rather fond of the colour blue now, come to think of it.

History; Tai originates from Alveus.

She was fine, when the war began. Sure her parents were dead but she was just fine, looking after her younger sister. Until a group of raiders showed up, and in a brutal fight massacared the three year old girl and left her, a 17 year old girl with no powers, to fend for herself, having escaped as they destroyed everything, the raiders already having done away with her sister. Her thirst for revenge is horrific.

She's now in a sort-of-alliance with Jakku, Kiba, James and someone else whose name she doesn't care to remember. On a submarine.

On an island.

Reasons for showing up; she tagged along with Gary. Mostly because she thought it would be a laugh to irritate the hell out of everyone.

And just to get away from the war for a bit.

Powers etc.; Hypnosis, mind reading. For some bizarre reson can make any piece of machinery work, but she doesn't normally know anything about the technology behind it.

Twin daggers, Pistol [advanced model - devised by an Adduco -- even she doesn't know all of it's special features] and whatever's on her belt at the time.

Also her snazzy flying skateboard :D

Age: 25 (I intend him to survive the Catching Fireflies... And if he dies, it'll be an alternate universe James ;D)
World of Origin: Catching Fireflies RP - Alveus
Appearence: Tall, lean and tired. His hair has grown out slightly, though its still on the short side, and he cuts it himself with his swords. His clothing has changed over the years, and now consists of black leather armor with the logo of an hourglass with all of it's sand in the upper half on his chestplate. Over it, he wears a long brown coat, from which a large assortment of short throwing knives can be taken. On the inside of the coat is also a special cloth hook where his two short swords are hung.

He wears black rectangular sunglasses which block his steel-colored eyes.

History:As a boy, he was forced on the run by the war. After several years of escaping and hiding with a small group of other children and three adults, they were found and slaughtered by a group of Adducan. He thought he would die as they mercilessly slaughtered the children, but for some reason he was never seen in the shadowy caves, while the boy who was running right next to him was grabbed and killed instantly.

A full year of hiding later he came to understand the irony of the situation. All those years of running had turned him into what he always had been; A Runner. He quickly realized the bright side of his new situation though; He was free, finally he had the power and the ability to be free while on the run, to hide in plain sight and to outrun any who dared chase him. From this thrill, this enjoyment spawned a sudden understanding of his powers, and in a short while he learned how to “blink” himself to anywhere he could see and to create small tears trough space and time, along with a further mastery of his Shadow Blending; The ability to shroud oneself in shadows to remain invisible.
Since then he has mainly relied on his own cunning and wit to survive, so not much has changed save for one thing; He now stood a chance to survive this cruel world, or at least this war.

In time, he was sent on a parcel delivery job. This took him to a village belonging to the Gifted, where he gained a house, and was sucked into the war by rebels. In the Battle of the Nameless City, he was injected with a powerful neurotoxin that left him in a state of limbo for a while. When he awoke, he still suffered from the mental wounds brought on by the poison.
The combination of being drawn in to fight in the war, the neurotoxin, and the pressure from the Adduco forcefield have disturbed his Runner powers slightly and has started an evolution into a Presul. The first time he used his Presul abilities was by accident on a ship, where he froze himself in time without realizing, only to snap out of it minutes later.

Trough the adventures in his relatively short life, he met many people and has seen many things. He has all-but mastered his time-controlling abilities, at the cost of some of his runner traits; The super-human speed is still there, and he can still teleport short ranges with effort, but the shadows no longer hide him. His Presul abilities have also increased both his knowledge of, and the power of his portals. He no longer passes out if he tears them apart, and by slowing down the time of the portals themselves, he can keep them open indefinitely, or until he falls asleep...



Reason for appearing in the city: One of his first portals that combine the runners tearing of space and the Presul manipulation of time went wrong, and instead of appearing trough space-time to make a sort of wormhole to another location on his world, he appeared in a city unlike any he had seen before. The city between worlds.
Weapons/Pokemon/Skills/Abilities: Two short swords, 32 throwing knives, superhuman speed and reflexes, the ability to slow down, speed up and freeze time at will, though while he can stop time from affecting him, his body can't handle extended durations of it. He can also tear holes in space and time.

World of Origin: Crossed The Line

Appearance: Ame has short spiky red and black hair. She wears black tinted goggles on her forehead, which she very rarely wears over her eyes. SHe normally wears an elbow length silver cape type thing, a purple T-shirt and black jeans.

History: Ame found herself when she was eight years old lying in an alleyway. She was left with a note telling her she was 8 and her name was Ame, and that was all, because she had no memory of anything before the alleyway. So she is now on a quest to find out who her real parents are, although, her substitute parents for the time being are Miko and Sol.

Reason for appearing in the city: She was searching for her real parents when she found herself there.

Weapons/Pokemon/Skills/Abilities: She can read peoples minds, and all thoughts they ever thought as well as controlling their moods. (not used for godmodding promises. Jakku you know it's not cause you were in that RP.)
