NU has arrived, and of course I have to make a team for the tier because I'm bored waiting for the next E4 challenger. This team is currently #3 on the NU ladder after only 3 days of me playing NU. This team has gone through many revisions, and I'm satifsied with the result.

The team:

Vivillon @ Focus Sash
Ability: Compound Eyes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Quiver Dance
- Sleep Powder
- Hurricane
- Bug Buzz

I usually lead with this thing, and it works much better as a lead than as a midgame sweeper, thanks to that nasty SR weakness. Additionally, Sleep Powder screws up most leads. Encore Liepard screws it over but it's pretty easy to see the switch and just Bug Buzz. Also for some reason people think it's a good idea to switch Grass types in to this thing to block the predicted Sleep Powder. They instead get mauled by Hurricane on the switch.

Lickilicky @ Leftovers
Ability: Oblivious
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Spd
Careful Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dragon Tail
- Heal Bell
- Wish
- Protect

My phazer and special wall. This thing has ridiculous special bulk. The moves are self explanatory. Wishes heal 212 HP.

Klinklang @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 148 Atk / 252 HP / 108 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Gear Grind
- Rest
- Shift Gear
- Return

This is the closest thing I have to a sweeper. Shift gear is one of the best boosting moves in the game(Besides lucky AincentPowers) and the ChestoResto is there to make status less annoying for this guy. Walled to hell and beyond by Steelix, though.

Rhydon @ Eviolite
Ability: Lightningrod
EVs: 252 Atk / 8 HP / 244 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Megahorn

When I first asked if Rhydon was viable in NU, I was told that it was ridiculous with Wish support. Somewhat true. Megahorn is for Grass types that try to set up on me, and the other moves are self explanatory. EVs avoid the OHKO from Timid Xatu's Grass Knot. (Plus, wishes heal more comparatively). Earthquake does 80% to Eviolite Doublade in case it tries to set up on me.

Typhlosion @ Choice Specs
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
IVs: 30 SAtk / 1 Atk
- Eruption
- Fire Blast
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Electric]

The wallbreaker. Specs Eruption is no laughing matter at full health, plowing through even resists with little trouble. The other moves are the best coverage it can get. HP Electric is for Mantine.

Gourgeist-Super @ Leftovers
Ability: Frisk
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Impish Nature
- Leech Seed
- Will-O-Wisp
- Shadow Sneak
- Protect

This thing has massive physical bulk, and can live a +1 Life Orb Iron Head from Hustle Durant. The moves are selected for the most annoyance possible. The amount of switches this thing forces is insane.

So here the team is. Pretty well-balanced. Leave comments below.

I've literally just started playing in NU (within an hour of writing this) so I'm not super familiar with the tier but it seems like your team doesn't have anything to deal with entry hazards... do you have any room for a spinner or a defogger?

I don't, and Rhydon doesn't live long often so I can't risk defogging away my own hazards.(Also Cryogonal is the best spinner/defogger in NU). I also have a cleric, and only Typhlosion minds switching in to SR.
