I'm a person who loves food, and I'm sure most people here do too. So I thought why not start a thread dedicated to sharing pictures of delicious, mouth watering comfort food! Whether it be a dessert, a drink, an appetizer, entree, or anything else, post it here and let's share and drool over some of our favorite foods together!

If you prepared any of the foods yourself, go the extra mile and tell us how you prepare them. Or if there's a specific way you eat/drink your favorite foods share that too!

Also, if you post an image, please hide it behind a spoiler, and please try to keep your images at a reasonable size, thanks. :)

That octopus looks delicious! Also, I love fish and chips. It's a really heavy meal though so make sure to eat it on empty stomach! :)

Chili Paneer (Thanks Chibster for showing me this amazing cuisine!)

YESSSS. Tempura is amazing! I went to a Japanese buffet some time ago that served the best tempura, and they had so much variety too. :D Oh and those Chicken Wings like so crispy! Yum!

I make them every week cept this week I can't cause my latest batch of kimchi isn't done yet. ^T__T^

Do you make your kimchi homemade usually? :)
I bought a bucket of the stuff at H-Mart, and I also bought some from Costco recently. The recipe I use is really simple. I just chop it up real fine, add some onion, flour, kimchi juice, raw sugar and salt and fry it in a little olive oil. Sometimes I add some starch for some extra crisp. :)

Yeah, I posted about it over in this thread somewhere. I don't think I posted my recipe for it though. I never use the pre-made stuff anymore, I just make my own always. Plus I get more kimchi juice making my own ^^ I use that stuff in so many things.

As for kimchi buchimgae IIRC mine are like 2.5 cups all-purpose flour (sieved), 1/2 tsp salt, 2.5 cups water, 2 cups diced kimchi, 1 beaten egg, 3 tbs kimchi juice, couple of green onions, roasted and black sesame seeds, then fry in canola oil (I don't really like the taste of olive oil, it's kinda strong for me and to me clashes with Asian cooking. Mum uses it for other stuff though. If I'm making her recipes I'll use olive oil but I'll reduce the amount by a good deal). There's a sauce I used to make to go with the buchimgae (2 tbs brown sugar, 4 tbs soy sauce, 4 tbs water, 4 tbs rice vinegar, 1/2 tsp gochugaru, 1/2 tsp ginger, 1/2 tsp sesame seeds, 1/2 tsp sesame oil, green onions), but I tend to make extra buchimgae to take to school during the week and they lose crispiness in the fridge so sauce would just be too soggy, so I just added the green onions and sesame seeds to the buchimgae themselves. The sauce is pretty good though ^^
