Well...after some consideration, I've decided to start a thread devoted to answering common tech questions, ranging from simple software problems, to a somewhat advanced stage consisting of hardware issues. Hopefully they will be answered A.S.A.P.

I've got a question. Can anyone give me a link to an idiot's guide to graphics cards that can tell me the difference between the various makers and the numbers and letters for the product names and what the hell they all mean? I know I need a new one to play a certain game, and that's the extent of my knowledge on them (well...I'm fairly sure I know more, but it's one of those things where I KNOW if I say anything else...I'll be wrong about it).
 
Thank you VERY much. And, honestly, I NEVER think of Wikipedia, despite it being bookmarked on my browser. Why? I dunno.
