The year is 2013. Not much of a timeskip, no? Anyway, a rather rich and bored 33-year-old billionaire by the name of Hilda Marathon had decided to make herself into the public eye by arriving in a world-traveling blimp/airship that declared a tournament for both Trainers and Coordinators.
The name of the game? “The Completionist’s Ire” Tournament, and why it is named so will be explained. The kink in the competition? She’s taking in only rookie trainers who had just started out their journey, viewing them more ready and pliable to take on this challenge. The winner of this competition will be famous the world over and will get a giant trophy for each region and a million PokeDollers also for each region.
The goal? Capture then raise all non-Legendary Pokémon from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova in all forms. There will be a six month break between each region run, so no worries of going mad from a Hell gauntlet.
So, ready to sign your life away?

My Sign-ups:
- Name: Hilda Marathon
- Gender: Female
- Job: Competition Spokeswoman and Founder; Heiress
- Age: 33
- Sexuality: Bisexual
- Personality: If one could describe Hilda with one word, it's "zealous". She's a live wire and prefers to be simulated in any way. Carefree and cheerful, she loves a good laugh, even at someone’s expense (depending on how severe it is). She is also a tease, and loves to use her body to trip up a man or bisexual’s tongue with her body. She’s also a bit of a dork, as she is a total fangirl of some shows in a certain circle. She can also be uncharacteristically patient.
- Appearance:
- (Physical) – Solid 6 foot height; 109 pounds; heart-shaped face; sharp facial features; light blue eyes; long blonde hair in a long ponytail that reached her waist; lightly tanned; B99-W59-H89 measurements; toned muscles
- (Clothing and other articles) – Long, laced black boots reaching her shins with white shoelaces; white form-fitting long biker shorts with two black lines on the sides; low V-neck, long black shirt with white rose-like patterns; white plain vest with black teeth-like patterns; a yin-yang necklace and checker flag earrings; black and white nail polish in stripe patterns on her nails; black-framed glasses or white framed polarized sunglasses.
- Pokemon:
"Flash" Blitzle (Female)
"Pandora" Absol (Female)
"Chill" Snorunt (Male)
"Old Scratch" Houndour (Male) - History: Hilda was born into a loving family that loved the theater and a good competition, with Hilda looking away from the more boorish kind of competitions, like the kinds Fighting-type Pokémon are good at, or the ones that are too sparkly, like Pokémon Contests. For years, she tried to find a competition that fit her desires. Finally, at the age of 10, she found it, in the form of the Pokémon League challenge. The Battle Royale for the top spoke to her as the mighty teams weeded out the weak or unprepared. While the team she betted on lost in the second round, she came out of it fulfilled. And she patiently waited, for the chance to execute that desire, securing various deeds and a commission to the most esteem air-shipwright company in the world.
- Other:
She themed her current style of clothing after the checker flag.
Theme song: Cuban Pete – Jim Carrey
- Name: Alma Celestecuerpo-Valquez-de la Cruz-di' Alagheriis
- Gender: Female
- Age: 11
- Sexuality: Straight
- Personality: Sarcastic. Flippant. Cynical. These things define Alma. She is also unflappable, not flinching even if a Tyranitar roared into her face. She's also short tempered, willing to strike anyone that rubs her the wrong way once irritated enough. Despite the title of her birth, she's honorable and honest, but can be a little blunt and stubborn as a mule. She's also determined to see things through to the end.
- Appearance:
- (Physical) about 5’05” in height; 97 pounds in weight; wry built; low B-cup; light pale complexion; dark green eyes; jet black hair; beginning of some muscles in arms and thighs; ears having a bit of a tip to them
- (Clothing and other articles) Loose gray pants; simple navy blue long-sleeved shirt; red oval glasses; yellow vest; green tape on the elbows and knees; purple bandanna on her forehead; black leather belt with a silver rose for a belt buckle cover.
- Starter Pokemon: Charmander
- History: Alma was born into a family of blue bloods, but the weird thing is, their family does not act like traditional blue bloods. Instead of the mentality that they will be forever rich, they were taught that man is not eternal, and thus, each Celestecuerpo make sure to live their life to the fullest. Because of this philosophy, many of the clan had made sure that not only that they stayed wealthy, they also branched out and went out to do extraordinary things, from science to academics, to even literature and charity.
Alma is no exception. A rebel to conventional rules, she was trained in various forms of martial arts and weaponry forms, to make sure if she gets kidnapped, she would not be helpless. She was enlisted into this competition by mother Reina and father Octavian to see if she was ready to take on Mother Nature and her children. - Other:
She plans to get a massive amount of tattoos once she is old enough.
Theme song: Round Zero~Blade Brave by Nanase Aikawa

Role-Play rules:
- All pre-existing forum rules are applied.
- World rules are both Anime and Games, so that means no Godmodding or Mary Sues. After three warnings, you’re toast.
- No excessive violence/gore (a la “Final Destination”, “1000 Ways to Die”, “Mortal Kombat”, etc.).
- No explicit romance (just putting up here just in case).
- If players fight, I will end it.
- You can leave the RP at any time. Just notify me first.
- Do not go overboard. Just because this is a competition RP does not give you the right to be a dick.
Game rules:
- The winner is not only decided by how fast it is finished, it is also decided by points gained from this tournament.
- How to gain Points
- Catching Baby-Stage Pokémon – 10 Points
- Catching Basic-Stage Pokémon – 15 Points
- Evolving a Pokémon – 20 Points
- Breeding – 5 Points per Egg
- Hatching a Pokémon Egg – 10 Points
- Using an Evolution Stone – 15 Points
- Trading with Other Competitors for Trade-related Evolutions – 20 Points
- Evolving a Pokémon that needs maximum Happiness – 25 Points
- Winning a Badge: 5/10/15/20/25/30/35/40 Points
- Winning a Ribbon: 5/10/20/30/40 Points
- Finishing First Place in the regions’ Pokémon League/Grand Festival: 100 Points
- Finishing Second: 80 Points
- Finishing Third: 50 Points
- How to gain Points
- You must wear the uniform for people to identify that you are a Competitor. If you don’t, you will lose 5 Points per minute. You can remove it to sleep or to use the bathroom, however. Uniforms consist of:
- A special helmet that has built-in Go-Goggles, a respirator for ash falling/underwater/high altitude scenarios, and a camera to record your progress through the competition, as well as let Competitor Watchers see what is going on. Due to the nature of the respirator, the camera is also water-proof
- Multiple pocketed-vests with Kevlar-like material the kanji for “Competition” (競争, pronounced “Kyousou”) adorned on the back. They are colored for a specific region and can be color-coded to genders, though there is a unisex color option. Can be customized to fit one’s tastes, but the color and the kanji must stay. Are replaceable for jackets of the same color for the colder parts of a region
- Kanto
- Fire Engine Red = Female
- Venom Green = Male
- Canary Yellow = Both Genders
- Johto
- Metallic Gold = Male
- Silver = Female
- Sky Blue = Both Genders
- Hoenn
- Fire Brick Red = Female
- Navy Blue= Male
- Forest Green = Both Gengers
- Sinnoh
- Electric Blue = Male
- Pink = Female
- Gunmetal Gray = Both Genders
- Unova
- Black = Male
- White = Female
- Kanto
- Kevlar-made gloves to protect the hands from rope burn that also match the color of the vests
- An armband with the Competitor’s number on it. The color of the armband matches the color of the vests and gloves
- A flare gun, which is to be used only for emergencies (do not use as a gun). The shots are red in color
- A special, white flare gun dubbed “The Flare Gun of Quitting”, which should only be used to announce that you want to quit from this competition. It fires a blue shot
- No catching multiple Pokémon of the same evolution line unless it comes in different forms (i.e. Burmy and Eevee). So be careful at which Pokémon of that evolution line that you want to catch.
- You can quit at any time. All you have to do is fire the Flare Gun of Quitting.
Penalties
- Destroying the helmet camera intentionally will result in a 25 Point reduction and a new helmet will be handed to you. Accidental cases will get a new helmet with no penalty.
- Harassing fellow competitors will result in a 10 Point reduction. Continuing offenders will have the Point reduction increased by 10 for every offense. By offense #10, the offender will lose 100 Points and will be disqualified from the game for being a dick.
- Stealing Pokémon from other Trainers/Competitors will result in your points cut in half. Do it three times, you are disqualified for being a lowly thief.
- Trying to kill your fellow Competitors will result in you losing all of your points and be disqualified for attempted homicide.
Now, how the jobs for the Staff Members works are this:
- Personal Bodyguards: Self-explanatory. They protect Hilda from any harm, be it from outside attackers or from Hilda herself.
- Competitor Watchers: These guys are the ones that keep an eye on their assigned Competitor. They signal Competitor Arrestors and Supply Runners to go in.
- Competitor Arrestors: These guys are called out when someone is disqualified or had quit. They come and collect the Competitor. If they resist, the Arrestors are allowed to use force, but nothing lethal.
- Supply Runners: These guys are the ones ship supplies straight to the Competitors once they either are running low, ran out, or lost them during an accident.
- Item Droppers: These guys drop crates of items for Competitors to use.
- Faux Droppers: These guys are identical to Item Droppers (down to delivery and appearance), but their drop crates hold items that are near useless.

NOTES:
How some Items work in my world:
- HP Up and Health Wings: Increases vitality in a Pokémon to make it faint less often, though Health Wings are less noticeable.
- Protein and Muscle Wing/Iron and Resist Wing/Calcium and Genius Wing/Zinc and Clever Wing: Same as in-game (though replace EV stat limitations to a Pokémon’s own health limitations)
- Carbos and Swift Wing: Increases muscle strength and flexibility in legs and/or wings to boost speed, as well as tendon strength to prevent tearing (also limited to a Pokémon’s health)
- PP Up: Increases energy in a Pokémon to make it use more moves without tiring out from the strain (once again, limited to a Pokémon’s health)
- PP Max: Increases energy in a Pokémon to the maximum amount permanently. Must only be used once, or else it will make a Pokémon very ill and be bed-ridden for weeks as it flushes out the excess PP Max vitamins from its body
- (Normal/Super/Max) Repels: Emits a stench wherever it is sprayed that Pokémon in general (even Poison-types) find very unappealing and makes Pokémon desire to be away from the stench
- Black Flutes: A version of Repel that targets the Pokémon's ears and not the nose, but once the ringing quiets, be wary: some Pokémon will fight you out of retaliation for using a Black Flute
- TM/HMs: Special CDs with genetic coding that is inserted into a TM/HM Reader, then inserted onto a PokéBall to teach that Pokémon that move, as long as it is compatible with the move. Otherwise, the Reader will just announce “ERROR!” and refuses to work until the TM/HM Reader is removed from the PokéBall
Also, I know that the Flutes are made into nothing more than glorified Nuggets in Gen. V, but I love the Flutes too much to let that stop me!
And if you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
