I'm going to show you some of the things I have made for my new pokemon games. I'm not making the games yet- I'm just getting everything I need first.

The Fenna Region is a tropical region, east of the Hoenn region. It has many similarities to Hoenn, and a tunnel is being built so people can travel between them.

DIGCHOU- A cross between Diglett and Chinchou. I will be making splices of two various pokémon, showing what happens when two different species breed.




TOPAL- The male player for my new pokemon games, Topaz and Opal. The player with the gender that you don't pick will be your cousin.



OPAZ- Opaz lives nextdoor to Topal, her cousin. Opaz's father is the professor of the Fenna Region- and his younger brother (Topal's father)is the final gym leader of the region.




I will be posting the starting town soon. If you haven't already noticed, this will be in Gen III style. Just to let you know.

digchou's eyes are a bit weird, but other than that it's cool :)
 
Changed Digchou's eyes.

Here's the starting town, 'Sherwood Town' and the pic on the right is 'Sherwood Cape'.

SHERWOOD TOWN


The house on the top right is the player's house. Your mother comes out of the house to see you when you get the pokedex from Pro. Bark- and she kindly gives you the running shoes. The house on the left is your cousin's house. She lives with her mother, and her father, Pro. Bark, rarely comes home, due to all his work.

The bottom left house is Pro. Bark's Lab. He gives you your starter pokemon- Treecko, Torchic or Mudkip. Once you defeat the theif (who unfortunately gets away), Pro. Bark gives you five Poke Balls and the Poke Dex.

To the west is Route 301, which leads to Shore Town. To the south is Sherwood Cape.

SHERWOOD CAPE
You come here once you have gained three badges- that's when the trainers and Captain Devon and his Boat come. Captain Devon can take you to Wave City by boat.
 
awesome! this looks like it could really be a fun time. and i love digchou. will there be a rom eventually?

Out of interest, where did you get the name "Sherwood Town" from?
 
Tihis concept seems similar to the new region I'm spriting.

As the more experienced spriter, will you give me some pointers? :shy:

Sherwood Forest from Robin Hood. I wanted another plant related starting town, so I called it Sherwood Town.

Okay, I don't see why not. Thanks for all the advice and comments, guys! Here are the overworld sprites for the players, and Opaz, the female player, in the truck which drives to Sherwood Town.

i have a question how do would a diglet and a Chinchou. meet in the first place to have this mutant sporn of satan XD

just because i called it the mutant sporn of satan doesnt mean i don't like it its actualy prity cool
 
Out of curiousity, what will this game be made with? Is it a ROM hack, or made with Flash or Java, or something different?
 
I unfortunately don't have the progam to make a rom out of. But if I could send all the stuff to someone who has got the progam, I will be EXTREMELY thankful.

Here are some battle scenes:



Scene 1: Blaziken VS. Shadow Lugia
If you are playing Topaz, then the evil team, 'Team Dusk', are building a unique kind of Lugia. Once you have destroyed their bases and their members, the team will flee, leaving you to capture the Shadow Lugia. If you are playing Opal, 'Team Dawn' have the Rainbow Ho-Oh.

Scene 2: Marowak VS. Pikachu
Tyson, the fourth gym leader, has electric pokemon. Pikachu is his first pokemon.

Route 301



Pokemon in this area: Pidgey, Sentret, Tailow, Bidoof. The shrine in the middle is where a trainer's pokemon has been buried. This is the first route of the game.

DHL! I am so psychic! I swear today I was just thinking my Pacifia will end with Team Rocket kidnapping all the Gym Leader's Pokemon who are holding each type of insence, then using black magic to summon a dark Arceus! DDD=

Now I have to think of something else. Or can I still use it?
 
You can still use the idea. Chances are that you thought of the idea first anyway. Team Dusk/Dawn's plan is this:

Three diamonds are scattered round the Fenna Region. Only when these diamonds (The Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald diamonds) are put together, Lugia/ Ho-Oh will come, sensing that there is danger. Team Dusk/Dawn then kidnap Lugia/Ho-Oh, and, finally, steal the DNA, and corrupt it using other pokemon's data. Hence, Shadow Lugia/ Rainbow Ho-Oh is born.

The gym leaders are from the previous games:

Brock, Bugsy, Wattson, Maylene, Koga, Jasmine, Tate & Liza, Candice.
 
Oh good, that's a bit different from mine.

Mine pretty much goes: Team Rocket is slowly picking off Gym Leaders one by one. It seems as you've noticed, they're specifically targetting those whose Pokemon are holding an Insence. After obtaining each of the eight elemental incenses neccesary, you and Willow come across them using black magic, summoning a darkened Arceus to present to their leader.

Wow, mine sounds cheesy now...
 
Sherwood Town Speech

Mother: Hiya, -----! How was your journey
in the back of that truck? It must of took a
long time to come all the way from Petalburg
City. I’d better show you to your room!

(Once you get into the house) Your room’s
up the stairs, -----! You’d better change the
time on your clock! And while you’re there,
don’t forget to find the right day on your
calendar!

(Once you set the time and day) Why
don’t you say hello to our neighbour? I
think we’re related to them somehow!

Neighbour’s Mother: Oh, you must be our
new neighbour, -----! You look a lot like my
husband! I know! You should head to the lab
and see if my daughter is there!

Opal: Oh, you must be our next-door
neighbour! My dad said that you’re his
nephew. And isn’t your dad a gym leader?
That means we’re cousins!

You’d better go across the bridge to
Sherwood Cape! My dad normally goes
there for research.

Pro. Bark (At Sherwood Cape): You must of
met my daughter, Opal. Oh yes- did you
know that I’m your uncle? Hmm… why don’t
you come by my lab and get a pokemon?

Pro. Bark (At the lab): Could you do me a favor?
20 years ago, I started a pokemon journey. I
recorded the data of every single pokemon
specie. But, I need someone to check over
my work. That’s where you come in. Go over to
the table, and pick you first pokemon.

Aaah, Treecko. Treecko brings a
lot of peace to it’s master. So, is Treecko your
choice? [Yes] I hope you care for it well. [No]
Please take your time.

Oh, Torchic. Torchic is a good pokemon to
start with. So, is Torchic your choice? [Yes]
Good luck with it. [No] Please take your time.

Hmmm….Mudkip. Mudkip needs a lot of patience
to train. So, is Mudkip your choice? [Yes] Please
look after it. [No] Please take your time.

Pro. Bark: Why don’t you head west to Shore Town,
and do some training while you get there? I
recommend you level your pokemon a bit.

Opal (in the town, after you pick your pokemon): Wow, you got your first pokemon! If you chose a Torchic then we would have had the same pokemon! So you’re heading to Shore Town? Then I’d better leave it to you. See ya later!
 
awesome dude like the game so much.. are u releasing it in PC..
when would u release it .. eager to play it think so it will surely have a difference experience than other games....will there be any new pokemon

Anyways, this is sounding pretty good... better than my hacked Gold I made XD
 
aw i thoght you were gonna put cameron in :'( can you at least put steelore town in? and liza and tate? good choice now im screwed XD
