anyway, on with the prologue...

Date: 12/12/2019, time: 8:15pm, location: ranger union.

It was absoloutely freezing in the ranger union. There wasn't a sound to be heard throughout the magnificent building due to everyone having gone home for the evening.. well, almost everyone. A young woman, a ranger to be exact, was having a rather.. heated discussion with her boyfriend.

"YOU LIED TO ME!.. I THOUGHT I COULD TRUST YOU!!"

"WILL YOU JUST CALM DOWN!.. LET ME EXPLAIN!!!"

"NO, I have HAD ENOUGH.. ENOUGH OF YOUR LIES!!!!"

"WAIT.. WHAT ARE YOU DOING.. NO.. NO!!!"

and with that, 3 gunshots rang out, piercing the once peaceful night air

Phoenix Wright was in his office, groaning.

OOC: Actually, no Lucario. He won't fit with the story.

IC: "No. Cases. No. Money."
 
ooc: a point, maybe as a witness?... i dunno

At that point, Maya came in. "Oh stop being so depressing Nick, cheer up!, I mean, you have taken cases before without being paid, remember?" she grinned
 
OOC: Maybe. But he's dead.

IC: "Need. Rent. Paid."
 
ooc: forgot about that

"Don't be such a bore nick!.. hey, lets put the news on!" she sighed, and switched their tv on.
 
"In the ranger union in the Pokémon World."


Phoenix jumped in shock. "Lucario lived there!"

"A murder has taken place. Most current details are being held secret by the police."
 
"See, that is what I'm talking about!, you now have a case to take on!!" Maya cheered and raced for the phone
 
"Like DUH, Nick, we NEED this case!, and besides, when we win, you can treat me and pearly to burgers!!!" she grinned
 
"Burgers..." Phoenix said, putting on a fake smile.

(another $4.99 out of my money) he sweatdropped.

ooc: she's actually 19 now. (same as von karma), lol. and besides, im 17, and I am still abusing the word, lol :)

It was at that point, pearly ran through the door, and went

"Mr Nick, it's great to see you again!".. she then noticed that Maya was taking Nick somewhere, and added:

"Oh.. are you both having a romantic day out?.. that is so sweet!, a day with your "special someone"..

"Nick.. we'd better get going to the detention center now"... Maya muttered
 
The two made their way out, and were met outside by..

"HEY PAL!!" a certain trenchcoat scruffy detective walked over, glaring at nick
