A thick fog lay over the city, smothering the morning light and masking the waiting guardians, making them as shadows. They watched, their eyes piercing the veil before them, readying claws, fangs and fists. Before very long, two beacons appeared in the distance, their orange glow drawing closer by the second.

[Seriously. This isn't going to be pretty. You probably shouldn't be here.]

Flames burst forth from the dense haze in the form of a leaping stallion, elegant and beautiful as it was terrifying. A Weavile swallowed its fear and darted from its vantage point, claws extended and aimed at the beast's exposed stomach. There was never a chance of it making contact. The darkened face turned toward the Weavile and unleashed a torrent of fire, forcing it to the ground, melting away its flesh and leaving it screaming as it stared at its hanging skin.

A Golbat was next to make its move, attempting to lock its teeth around the assailant's neck before it could react. Just as it was in position, however, the second light suddenly became a blur. A moment later, the fangs of a much larger, more ferocious beast were tearing into the Golbat's wings, crippling it into a warm pool of blood.

[I'm not kidding. It's not going to get any better.]

Finally, a Machamp stood over its fallen companions, in the face of its two relentless foes and the shadowed forms atop them. Caution to the wind, it threw a fist forward, aimed at the more carnivorous-looking of the two. It leaped backward long before the blow would connect, and a pair of black spheres appeared in its place. This new foe began to expel a cloud around it, further reducing the field of vision. Panicking, the Machamp's breath quickened as it searched for its target, but a foul taste in its mouth forced it to cough. Wincing in pain and its vision blurring, it tried to escape, but it would barely move an inch before everything around it went dark and its movement became constricted. The last thing that it heard was a hissing in its ear, which was followed by a sharp, stabbing pain in its stomach.

Their enemies defeated, the two forms atop the flaming beasts spoke.
"Ha, no chance," the first one cackled, its canine mount batting the felled Machamp from its path.
"Such a pitiful display..." the second one said with a smile.
"But damned if it wasn't fun."
"Heh heh... Let's not idle. This town is ours."

What you have just read is a taste of things to come. This RP is a complete 180 from your normal views on Pokemon. In this story, we explore what it would be like in real life, if they were actually used as weapons, and the resulting consequences.

We will only need 3 people to join this rp. You must be a decent rp'r. Know how you use frickin spell check, and be active. I CANNOT STRESS THE LAST ONE ENOUGH. We didn't go though all this work just to let it die. If more than 3 people apply for this rp, then we will simply select the 3 who we think will be the most interesting, entertaining, and overall fun.

You can give each of them Attacks, but be warned, if we feel your pokemon are too powerfull, or just stupid, we will let you know, and you will change them, or you will be asked to leave. You can pm your list of Pokemon to myself at anytime. It should go something like this.

Name: Ashlie

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Apperance: He has black, ruffled hair and dark eyes. His skin is golden-brown, but also looks somewhat sooty and grey. Even if he smiles, his blue eyes usually look sad. He has not a very strong and muscular body and he is only 1.69 metres in height, so he relies more on the mind and thinking. Ashlie wears a red and white jacket, a grey, black T-shirt and jeans.

Personality: He is thoughtful and curious and thinks a little different than most other people do, or at least so he thinks. Wants to be strong and sometimes runs ahead a little bit too fast and aims too high at once, thinking he can manage more than he really can. He is competetive and can gain rivals easily, thinking that people, who tries to be better and improve, are competing with him. This often occurs when there is a group of people working together. He himself thinks that you do not need to be in a group to be strong.
He feels lost and far from home. Has a strong will and a strong mind. Hates his enemies, but is kind to his friends. If someone does somthing he usually wants to know a reason for it; he believes there is always a reason for people's actions.

Background: He is not sure of where he comes from. He is not even sure if he remembers his name, but he thinks it is Ashlie (he does not know that his true name is Satoshi). This situation makes him feel confused. He knows the world around him, at least most of it, but still he has no memory of being there. This makes him somewhat unexperienced, but he is wise in another way.
Ashlie did come from a great city somewhere, that he barely remembers. He thinks that something must have happened to him, since he lost his memory. And why did he leave his home city in the first place? Was he a Trainer on a Pokemon adventure? If so, where is his Pokemon? These are things he wonders a lot about and he hopes some memories will return to him.
As he was lost and alone, he once met a Pokemon that became his best friend. He can't go on without his Pokemon friend.
He is not sure how he came here, but he is going to find out who he are and where he came from. Slowly, memories are going to return to him.

Talen didn't mention it, but he and I are running this RP together, and he asked me to add a few things since he won't have access again until Monday.

The three who sign up, basically, will be pitted against the villains (that's us). Parties may consist of as many Pokémon up to six as you'd like, and any number of them can work together in any given battle. However, keep in mind that the opponent can also go all out, and there may be times when only a single Pokémon is necessary. Parties can also include a mount to make travelling easier.

I notice that Talen didn't remove Legendary Pokémon from the list. I just put that list together quickly based on what I thought could do some considerable damage, and it's not sorted well because I included future evolutions or related Pokémon in the wrong Generations. (For instance, all of Eevee's evolutions are listed under Generation I, as are Rhyperior and Hitmontop.) Anyway, Legendary Pokémon like Mewtwo won't be allowed in parties without a good reason, and certainly not from the beginning.

Each party can, however, include a different definition of a 'Legendary', meaning a Pokémon that has trained hard and reached a level of strength beyond what a normal Pokémon of that species could. Both Talen and I, being the antagonists, will have one each from the beginning, but they won't be heavily used, and the three protagonists can have one each of their own later in the story, which will most likely be their signature and/or starter Pokémon.

If this post sounds rushed, it's because it is, and it's not proofread very well because I'm in a hurry. I'll check back here when I can, though.
