The Death Of Music

I completly agree with you this is the worst sting ever made

Okay, that song really sucked as hell ¬_¬. It's not the death of music just maybe death of some talent or creativity...

Music's been dead since the late 90s. Now they're just beating the bloodied and battered corpse.

Bleh...seriously why the hell was that one guy screaming...? >_>

This is very true.
I cannot stand to listen to most tracks that come out nowadays.

Wow, this video... is odd. Honestly, it's a combination of two genres that I feel should never be combined: Dance and Screamo. Some thing can be great together, but this was just bad.

Naw, good music is alive and well. You just have to hunt it down because most of the best stuff doesn't get as much radioplay (if any) in today's day of clear channel owned radio.

I think the rule goes "Music has been dead for 10 + number of years since I was in High School/Jr. High/Grade School"

As for that song, I've heard worse, its actually rather funny at points granted I don't listen to the radio much at all nor did I listen to the whole song. (Plus still hate Souja boy more)

Everyone who says music is dead just can't live with the fact that music is different these days, I guess. It's evolved. There's plenty of good music these days and plenty of shit (like this video).

The screaming is the only good thing on here, and it's nowhere's near enough to redeem the rest of the song.
Okay, I'll admit, 2007-present has been a bad period for music, especially electronica, (Have you noticed that since 2007, Venetian Snares has started changing his style? Same for Sabrepulse, and Alec Empire's nowhere's near how I remember him) but there's still some good stuff in the extreme underground communities, like Australia and Japan.

Yea, there is this guy named Nujabes, he creates so many good songs, like this.

Not really. I've loved a lot of recent music: Coldplay, Flight of the Conchords, the Jonas Brothers (Shut up. Just 'cuz they're Disney doesn't mean they're not good), etc.

Oh, and I completely agree with Satoshi-kun. Good music is still alive and well, it's just harder to find.

Yeah, well, he did say Japan... and speaking of which, there is a lot of mainstream electronic music that rocks as well like from 80kidz, Meg, Perfume, Capsule, Towa Tei, and ravex to name a few.

I just agree with PorygonZ, its just different, and basically every 10 years there is another discussion on how music isn't as good as it was the 10 years before. Its all kind of silly. (Same goes for movies, games, and anything else a person can get emotionally attached with/ with their youth)

I don't think "good" music is dead, You just gotta find it, my pet peeves are people who generize an era of music as crap when there more good stuff coming out of it.

Although I do wish that some acts would stop using autotune.

This and many more songs are why I only have bands from the 80s(who still live on, examples are metallica and iron maiden), or a bunch of random 80s songs. Like I need a hero, betty davis eyes, and jessie's girl. Do not ask.

There's a lot of today's music that I like... I even find Soulja Boy to be tolerable.
