Plot
One morning, you awake and check your mailbox. Upon opening it, you notice a small letter, and open it.

"Dear (Insert Name Here),
You have been chosen for the Delta Project, a small organization in northwest Hoenn where we are testing the genes of certain Pokemon. These Pokemon have a certain flaw in their DNA that breaks up their typing, creating pokemon like, say, Ghost-type Typhlosion ar Electric Feraligatr. The strange thing is, they still remain with the same weaknesses as a regularly typed one would have. You have been chosen, out of thousands of potential Trainers, to take one of these newly dubbed 'Delta Pokemon', and raise it so that we can see any differences between them and regular Pokemon. If you are interested, please reply immedately.

-Professor Delta, Scientist."

You, upon seeing this, reply quickly and within days are told to go to the Delta Laboratory to train one of these Delta Pokemon. But is this Professor Delta truly who he says he is? What truly is the Delta Project?

The Cast
Cole Jacobson (Bidoof.)
Faith Young (Willow's Tara)
Devon Allen (Derier44)
Melissa Jones (Glacie-ruu)
Terry Adams (PlatinumDude)

And now, without further ado, The first post! (And, for anyone wondering, I will be controlling Professor Delta and the other scientists)

Here we go!

Professor Delta, Scientist
Noon
One hour before Trainers Arrive

Professor Delta walked slowly back and forth in his secret room, pouring a strange liquid between to beakers as he went. The liquid sloshed around noisily and glowed bright red, as if it was neon.

"Hmmm," he mumbled angrily, as if in a trance. On a table in front of Delta were five inventions of his known as Delta Balls. They were used to contain Delta Pokemon, and were a dark red color. The liquid contained Delta Fluid, which was poured into Poke-Balls to turn them into Delta Balls.

After about half an hour of this, a young boy in a lab coat several sizes too big rushed down.

"Sir," the boy said. "Just here to remind you that the train is about halfway to the lab."

"Good," Professor Delta said, and began to chuckle. The chuckles turned into loud laughs, echoing down the corridor.

"Um, sir?" the boy said. "Do you need, like, an aspirin or something?"

"No, no, I'm fine," Delta said. "Now out of my invention room, now!"

The boy ran through the corridor. He was used to being dismissed like that from his boss.

Hoenn SuperTrain

Cole, having just arrived at the train station minutes ago, now stared at the newly built Hoenn SuperTrain. It was built by Tadel Inc., which, if you unscrambled the letters, turned into Delta Inc.. Thus, it was owned by Professor Delta. The train was made especially for Cole and four other trainers to ride to Delta's lab, and obviously it was large enough to fit a mansion for each of the five.

"Wow," was all Cole could manage, looking at the big TADEL INC. WE MAKE THEM FOR YOU! written on the side of the train. Tadel, along with being the cover story for Delta, also created Master Balls, Ultra Balls, Max Revives and Full Restores.

A conductor, a scientist too by the look of it, stepped out of a door on the train and stepped to the floor. All of the sudden, the floor rose to the roof, which opened. The floor rose higher, attaching itself to a long track in the air. The track, made purely out of steel, streched all the way across the skies of western Hoenn.

every door on the train opened, and a loudspeaker sounded.

"Attention, trainers! Please get onto the train immediately!"

Cole stepped onto the train eagerly . . .

Faith Young

Faith rushed to the train after getting her ticket "Oh crap, I can't believe the first time in years I slept in!" Faith exclaimed as she could see the train door opening, she had to jump in or she may miss it. "Hold that train!" Faith shouted before jumping onto the train glad she made it.

"Well that was easy" Faith commented "But I can't stop think I am missing someone" Faith wondered before a Pokemon suddenly teleported in front of her and gave her a look "Oh right Gardevoir, I am so sorry I forgot you in that rush but hey aleast you made it" Faith told her before sitting down to catch her breath.

"Gardevoir" Gardevoir replied before leaning against the window and going into deep thoughts like she always does.

"Let's see what this is all about" Faith said to herself while looking around.

Terry Adams

Terry waited calmly for the train, clutching his ticket. This was his big chance for him to study the Delta species of Pokemon alongside Professor Delta. As soon as the train arrived, he said to the 5 Poke Balls that contained Dugtrio, Magneton, Scizor, Electivire and Porygon2, "This is it. We're going to study with Professor Delta. Are you ready, guys?" Even though he couldn't tell their feelings in the balls, he guessed that they were fired up and ready to go.

The conducted had gone back into the train after speaking into the loudspeaker, and now sat in a chair reading a magazine.

"Man, am I glad this thing steers itself," he said absentmindedly, flipping the pages of Sinnoh Now magazine. He looked over to the various components whirring and beeping. One looked a bit like a printer and had a big green button glowing. Upon pressing it, the conducter found that a slip of paper slid out. On it, it said:

Three of five trainers are on board.

"Man, this all makes my job easier," the conducter said. "Now I don't even have to go check up on them.

Another slip of paper slid out of the printer, this one with a different note.

Checking for tickets on 3 of five passengers . . . Please wait.

And suddenly, all along the train, a loud voice yelled, "TICKETS, EVERYONE!"

"How in the world is a voice going to tell if we have tickets?" Cole asked the voice quizzically.

Instantly afterwards, everyone's tickets floated from where they were and stood in midair.

"Good," the voice said. "Everyone has tickets. RESUME WHATEVER YOU WERE DOING!"

Everyone's tickets fell slowly ot the floor of the train.

"The wonders of modern science," Cole mumbled in awe, scooping his ticket up. "Professor Delta must be filthy stinkin' rich to afford all this for just five people."

OOC: By the way, you only need your character's name in bold for your first post. And also, please PM me the type you would wish for your Delta Pokemon to be, and I'll put that into account.

Terry was surprised when his ticket floated up in the air during the inspection. The conductor could've checked the tickets by himself by walking around, he thought. He leaned back on the chair and stared out the window, eagerly waiting for the other 2 trainers to show up.

Cole took a seat and started relaxing. He figured that the other trainers were so late that they wouldn't even make the train, and he'd have a greater choice of Delta Pokemon.

I wonder if this train'll even ever take off without those two . . .

Devon Allen

Devon had been asleep on the train until his ticket burst out of his pocket. He looked up and saw it was being checked by a computer scanner. "This guy sure is impressive." thought Devon as he eyed the Telda logo at the front. He then studied his own pokeballs, and thought what a great addition to the team the Delta pokemon was. I can't wait!" he thought excitedly in his mind as he stared out the window.

OOC: I'll be leaving (again) until Friday, so I won't be able to post in any Role-Plays.

OOC: Can you leave someone else the GM ability so that this doesn't die while your gone?

Kimberly Jade Meade

Kim walked up along the street to notice the train, a technological beast. She was nervous about the project but also excited, and she new that with her pokemon by her side she wouldn't be in danger. Her long flowing hair blew in the wind as she boarded the train. She noticed the tickets in the air and immediately felt creeped out. Wow, spooky. She thought to herself.

OOC: I'm back! And it's time to pick things up a little!

The printer made a beeping sound, waking up the conducter who had fallen asleep. A sheet of paper slid out.

" All passengers have arrived. Tickets have been checked.

"Huh? What?" the conducter said, reading the note, then tore it to shreds.

The train began to move, slowly at first, then going faster and faster until it was moving at hundreds of miles per hour and everything outside the windows were just blurs of light.

"Attention all passengers," the voice said once again. "This ride will take about ten minutes. Feel free to move around the train for that amount of time. Thank you for riding the Hoenn SuperTrain." After a burst of static the voice spoke no more.

Cole stood up and began wandering the large train, looking for someone to talk to.

After hearing the annoucement, Kimberly got up and patrolled the train. Wanting someone to chat to, someone would want to talk to her, obviously.

After hearing the announcement, Terry slumped down on his seat. No one else was next to him to talk to. He glanced to his left and saw a girl walking down, who had the same expression he had. "Hey," he spoke up, "Can I help you?"
