I wanted to do this last night, but I was called to see the countdown, so I'm doing it now.

Digimon Adventure is my favourite show, along with Pokémon and Pokémon Diamond & Pearl.

I also enjoy Digimon Adventure 02, and watched Digimon Tamers up 'till the Biomerge episodes. I always wanted to see it happen, although it didn't turn out as cool as I thought it would be. Also, every freakin' kid ended up getting a Digimon, which I thought was stupid.

I like Digimon Savers and am worried about the dub, which Disney is most likely doing. I'm sure we'll get crappy voices and it will be butchered, as the show should be aimed at teens if they don't cut it.

I'll start by asking a question: Who are your favourite Digi-Destined and why?

I like T.K. and Kari. I like their Digimon, the characters themselves, and they're my first and favourite shipping of all time, although I'm still not sure what it's called...

Wheee, Digimon!

I enjoyed Adventure and 02, but Tamers is my favorite. You didn't like the biomerging? I thought it was awesome...

And my fav digidestined? Gotta be Takato... *points to avatar* hehe, I just think he's such a sweet guy and well... it's kinda hard to describe ^^; But he's my fav. I do love Guilmon and his forms as well.

I edited the first post explaining more reasons why Tamers quickly changed from awesome series to bad excuse for Digimon.

Takato is cool, so is Guilemon and Terriermon, but that's about it for Tamers characters.

I liked Rumble Arena for PlayStation. I wish I had it...

It would've been okay at the end of the series; just not halfway through, unlike Adventure 02, which I hated the ending to.

May I join the club? I haven't seen Digimon in a long time, but I really loved to watch the different series. It used to be on Jetix on ABC Family, but it was on early weekend mornings. Then Jetix went on to only Toon Disney and I can't get that channel since it costs extra to get. Darn it. I really want to see Savers since I've heard really good things about it.

There is one thing I don't understand, XD375. You said that Disney would have horrible voices and butcher Savers if they dub it. I'm pretty sure that they are, but they dubbed Tamers and Frointer and neither of them were really butchered. And all of the voices were fine, but it has been a long time since I last saw either one of those series.

Oh! A Digimon club. How nice! I like Digimon. Actually, when I didn't care about Pokemon a little after AG started in Japan, Digimon took up all my attention. Even though there wasn't much to go on... the franchise was pretty much dead for two years until they aired Digimon X-Evolution.

I liked Adventure and Adventure 02 the most. More 02 than Adventure since I loved the plot and the characters a great deal. I was even willing to ignore the plotholes since it was a fun series anyway. I found Tamers to be rather good until they pulled the whole deal with the stupid D-Reaper, and Frontier is cute, though it's really not that good. It has cute, colorful characters, which is the only thing that saves it from being utter trash.

Savers isn't Digimon as far as I'm concerned. Cardboard characters and fanservice? No thanks. I do love Ikuto, Agumon and Kamemon. They're not enough to save the series for me, of course, but eh. I have to say, I'll laugh very, very hard if they'll really dub Savers. For one thing, characters from Savers appeared in the Digimon World DS game and kept their Japanese names. Additionally... there's just so much fanservice! Savers has so many ample breasts and shower scenes you have to wonder who's the target audience. Even Frontier wasn't that bad, and they had Izumi.

Takeru/Hikari is called Takari by the western portion of fandom, and TakaHika by the Japanese. Just say Takari, people will understand you. And occasionally beat you over the head with a giant spoon. You have to be very careful when you associate yourself with the Takari crowd, about 95% of them are batshit insane.

For the record, my favorite Chosen Child is Iori, followed by Jyou and Koushirou. They're hardly my favorite characters, though, even if I do love them. No, my favorite characters... I think someone's going to kick me if I say who my favorite characters are because I go on about them too much.

And I loved the ending of 02!!! *shot*

The voices in Savers wouldn't be that bad; I'm just sure they won't suit the characters. Maybe it's because I've already gotten used to Daimon's Australian accent that I might use in a fandub.

Also, Digimon Savers is violent, so a lot of that would be cut, too.

Not really. The company that will probably get Savers is most likely Viz or Phuse, and I don't see them cutting much (also, they have alot of VAs who did Digimon).

Also, I believe Masaru and them are keeping there names as well.

My favorite is Sora, cuz I love Biyomon. I had a crush on her when I was little....a kinda weird one...0.o

Anyway, count me in! Digimon World DS is a neat game, and brought back some fond memories.

Disney will get the dub, just like they got the others; well, technically it was Saban, but Disney bought them out halfway through Tamers.

I wish Viz or FUNimation would get it, though.

Disney doesn't dub Anime, or atleast I don't think they do. They could I belive get Viz or another company too dub for them, but still perhaps have some say in it.

And, personally I thought Frontier had the best dub. Mainly because I liked the theme song.

Savers looks okay, kinda dissapointed the characters looks like FMA instead of Digimon like.

So, Rachel and Demon. Are you guys in or not? I know you're not into clubs Rachel, but you've been posting here.

I liked Frontier's theme too. It was the only good thing about it! I only saw the first episode and a couple in the middle, though.

Yeah, I'm definitely in.

If Savers will be dubbed, then Disney will decide who will dub it. The studio they created for dubbing Frontier ceased to exist the moment Frontier ended, really, but when they dubbed the Digimon movies, they showed that they have no problem picking up most of the people that worked on Digimon and getting them together to dub another season.

Additionally... there's just so much fanservice! Savers has so many ample breasts and shower scenes you have to wonder who's the target audience.

Target audience: all the teens who liked Digimon when they were kids 4 to 7 years ago.

^Yeah, which is the right direction to go.

I plan on updating the list.

I hope they can somehow get it on Toonami, instead of like Jetix...(in the US atleast).

I heard rumours that there may not be a Season 6...so Digimon may go on hiatus again.....

If they were to do a sixth Digimon, I would want a cross-over. Then again, I wanted Biomerge, and look how that turned out.

Tai meets Masaru or something like that.

Aren't you overdo for a name change? Habunakemon?

From what I gather, there won't be a sixth Digimon series right away. There is more to expect from Digimon in 2007, in any case, as the games are still going strong.
