Since Sui and I keep returning to the topic of Eric Stuart in the Brock Club and I know we can't be the only fans of his around here, and there's also a lot of VA loving going around ever since the replacement issue came up, I figure this can't be the worst idea I've ever had.

Now, in the grand tradition of Bulbagarden Clubs First Posts, here are the rules.

1. STATEMENT OF THE OBVIOUS: This is a club for fans of Eric Stuart. If you admire him and his work, you don't even have to ask to join - welcome!
2. As in any club, please stay on topic. There's a lot of room for discussion, since he does a lot of voice acting and his music is impossible not to love and such, but just make sure it's all about Eric Stuart.
3. Gushing about how much you love Eric Stuart is fine, but don't cross the line. If you have any creepy stalker fantasies or anything similarly unpleasant, keep it to yourself. I mean, if Eric Stuart ever looked at this thread, we would want him to feel admired and adored, not disturbed and possibly frightened. He's a real person, and a really talented one at that, so he deserves respect - please watch your words and keep it kosher.
4. Insert all the other rules of Bulbagarden Forums in general here.

Okay, so, opening up a topic of discussion - favorite Eric Stuart Band song?

It's a tough choice for me, personally, but I'm very partial to Raise A Little Hell. As well as Indigo. And not to mention Can't Get Enough Of It. And... okay, yeah, this is what I mean when I say it's a tough choice. ^^o

Remedy. ^^;; It's as if he's specifically singing to me to help me feel better when I'm not well....I also like Easier By Now, Curiosity (seriously, it's like he's undressing me with his voice!), and One Good Reason.

I've actually never heard the work he's done with his band, the only times I've heard him sing is as Brock and one or two Yu-Gi-Oh songs he did. I'd really love to hear his bands work~

You've gotta hear it, PDUTogepi, it's so awesome. In fact, admittedly, I never really appreciated any of his work, voice acting or otherwise, until I listened to his music.

Actually, now that I think about it, there's one song available for download on his website's merchandise page. There's a little blue square where it says "Download the mp3 - Staring You In The Face". Listen to it - you're going to love it.

Hrm, really? Maybe he took it down. I wouldn't know - I got my music from someone else. I'm trying to get the CDs, but for whatever reason the order on the website doesn't seem to have processed at all. I'd go to amazon.com, but I can't help but fear that as soon as I do that, the order will process and I'll have duplicate CDs sent to my house. Which isn't a bad thing, actually, except I'm sort of hoarding my money until I find a summer job... ^^o

And by the way, one of my college friends (our anime club president, Sarah) has actually met Eric Stuart at an anime convention before. She even has his autograph too!

I'm so jealous of her because she's actually met one of the VAs for Pokemon and that she has his autograph! XD

*jealous* You've gotta be kidding me! o.o; He's only ever attended a con once, to my knowledge....the other con he was listed as being at I believe he didn't show. What I'd give to meet him..... T__T

And man, I'd love to meet him and get his autograph, too. Is there any conventions he shows up at? Because if there is, I can probably get to it since I'm pretty close to New York myself - and I'd definitely would go out of my way to do such.

Then that means that he must've went to Tekkoshocon at some point (and that con's just in its 4th year, so he must've went to it in the past!)!!!! O_O


And that also means that Sarah's Eric Stuart autograph is worth a lot! In fact, I'd say it's priceless!

Is there any conventions he shows up at?

Well, if he's already been to Tekkoshocon once, my guess would be that he likes to go to that con (which is Pittsburgh's con, by the way).

Of course, when I went to Tekko' this year, Eric wasn't one of the guests......


However, at the con, they had this huge auction (in order to help a certain cause) where they sold different anime items and stuff.

One of the things they sold was a Fullmetal Alchemist wallscrooll which was signed by A LOT of VAs, including 3 from Pokemon.

Lisa Ortiz, Eric Stuart, and Rachel Lillis, among some other VAs which worked on other anime.


I forgot exactly how much that sold for, but it sold for a lot of money. O_O

Well, if Eric Stuart did attend Tekkoshocon (in any of the previous 3 years), that would explain how Sarah got his autograph.

Unless, Sarah attended Big Apple Anime Fest when Eric was there.

I don't know if she did or not, but next time I see Sarah I will ask her which convention she met Eric at.

It would be very interesting if he did go to Tekkoshocon one year. ^^

I almost wanna whack Eric for being so late to the 4th movie commentary. X3 35 minutes! I wonder what he was doing that day....god, it could be anything, he seems to keep so busy.
