Thanks. =) But, Choice items limit me to using only one move. Choice Band is better for trapping Psychic- and Ghost-types, where as Swords Dance set is meant for sweeping (and I already have a bunch of set up sweepers). Superpower also adds a check on a few of my threats, and is great for predicting Magnezone switching in to trap me.I like your team. There is one thing I would suggest though. I would take superpower off of Scizor and replace it with Swords Dance. With the two Earthquake users you have on your team, and with a Machamp / Lucario (if you add one) as well, Scizor doesn't have to worry too much about hitting steels, especially since you can get out of the battle with U-turn.
Swords Dance makes Scizor one deadly Pokemon, and one SD makes Bullet Punch one of the best sweeping moves in all of OU.
But other than that, I like your team.
XD Thanks! Yeah, but since this is an offensive team, I rely on resistances. And, as you said, Latias can actually afford to take some special hits, even Hidden Power Ice. ;D Thanks for the comment~One thing I must say.
I absolutely applaud you for doing such a thorough RMT post. It's refreshing to see that someone knows what they're doing here.
I'm honestly not good at all at doing equally thorough rates... it seems like a pretty solid team to me. I was gonna say 'maybe something that's more of a special wall?' but Latias, even though it's a special sweeper, kinda takes care of that. XD
No problem. K, I will be looking forward to the rate. ;DYes, thank you for a good RMT. It makes my job of modding this forum much easier. I'll get around to a rate within 24 hours.
Well, that is a threat list. XP Really a lot of people have bigger ones. @_@ Forgot about the spoiler tag......Did you just put up an entire list of the pokemon in OU and analyze their threat level to your team? Wow.
Er...well, there's not a lot left for me to rate, with that list up. >.> Best I can suggest is putting it in a spoiler tag so your post isn't obscenely long.
I will comment ya in bold in your quote. Thanks for the rate~LOVE Latias on anything; moved down to OU makes my hypothetical-team-that-i'll-get-to-after-exams very happy.
Don't suppose you need -two- thunderbolters. The type coverage is rather neutral, like you mentioned.
Thunderbolt on Latias helps her stay in on Water-types other than having to switch out to Raikou. Raikou is there for STAB. =D
And since you stuck Recover on Latias and while she's not the dedicated support special wall (lol Blissey), her defenses are still awesomepossum. But this would imply drawn out, and for that I would drop Draco Meteor for Dragon Pulse. 2 stages of spatt for each use just makes Dragon Pulse the better choice IMO
Really, I use Latias as a hit-and-run kind of attacker, like the Specs set (except I have freedom to use different moves), so I like Draco Meteor for packed power (it even OHKOs max HP Zapdos with SR down). I can consider that though~ I usually just use Dragon Pulse on CM sets instead.
Maybe drop the second thunderbolt for Trick (for walls) or a status (for everything else)
Also, I don't believe more than two Pokemon are allowed to have the same item. Specs has to go somewhere `-`
Only in Nintendo tournaments they enforce the Item Clause, and I usually just ladder on Shoddy with this, which doesn't strictly have Item Clause (unless chosen to use), and most tournaments don't have it (except I haven't been here long to see the clauses allowed here).
MixKingdra is fine, would definitely put swords dance on Scizor just to make it revengekill even more than it already does.
Eh, like I said earlier, this Scizor is meant to Pursuit stuff like Gengar, and not actually sweep. I already have two set up sweepers so, I try to keep a minimun of two.
Would not consider either Deoxys-D OR Cresselia.
Why? Deoxys-D/Cresselia is Pursuit weak, but Deoxys-D can Knock Off a Choice Band from Tyranitar, Scizor, and Metagross weakening the blow, where as Cresselia has Reflect. Although, I dropped them due to the fact they don't counter Scizor and Tyranitar which Metagross does.
You could do with hazing, even on a defensive team.
Mamoswine screws up Ninjask from Baton Passing. Explosion with Metagross really hurts the Baton Pass team if they don't have a Sub up. Scizor can scout with U-turn.
You don't really fear stealth rock with this team, but rapid spinners are always good.
Eh, I think Rapid Spin is always a wasted slot if I don't have any more than 2-3 SR weak Pokemon.
Consider toxic spikes, just because Latias and Metagross do well for sweeping and are both sufficient in their defenses to wall.
This is a offensive team... Latias is best at stalling with the CM, and Metagross can't even heal away damage.
