Yes, I know it's not an anime or anything. But, it's my favorite American made cartoon. ^^

And that's why I've decided to make a club for it, so we can talk about the show, our favorite characters, and even post pics of our favorite characters.

So, if there's any Futurama fans here, go ahead and join! Have fun! :-D

I'll start off the club with a basic question:

Who's your favorite character and why?


Mine is Fry, mostly because I think he's funny. And yeah, I also like the fact that he's the main character.

LOL, what is it with me and main characters? I always seem to find them the most interesting and stuff. XD

MY favourite character is: Bender, he's funny and a robot what more could you ask for?
 
Bender is badass; he is a perfect incarnation of a flawed human being inside the body of a robot. Within that brash and cynical shell of some weird alloy, there exists a heart of gold that understands virtues and emotions. And so it is that I can relate to him =)

Best Bender quote; "Fry, of all the friends I've had, you're the first".

I also have a soft spot for Zoidberg.

Ooh may I join, I love Futurama. I can't wait for the movies which they're supposed to be recording now *fingers crossed*

I love all the characters, but my favs I suppose is Bender. I'm also a big Fry/Leela shipper ;)
 
I'm so in!!! My favorite character is Bender, because, he cracks me up! My second favorite is Zap Brannigan, because he reminds me of myself!
 
Everybody loves Bender. He's so full of himself, but is both cognizant of this and unrepentant. Basically, we all wish we were like that.
 
I want to join! My favourite characters are Fry, Bender, and Dr. Zoidberg.
Fry because of his stupidity, Bender because of his sarcastic ignorance, and Zoidberg just 'cause of the weird way he acts.
 
Can I join? I recently started re-watching the show, courtesy of reruns on CN. My favorite character is Fry.

According to IMDB.com the first movie/4 episodes have been recorded, I suppose they'll spent the next lot of months animating it, editing etc.. They're hoping for a release Christmas 2007 (US, UK would know doubt follow fast as Futurama's popular here).
 
I love Futurama. I like Leela, she's very headstrong.

My friend and I came up with Spacehoneyshipping! It's Fry x Leela.

I'm excited for the specials as well. ^_^
 
I think my new favorite episode is the one where Bender dates the ship, and she becomes jealous.
 
Oh yeah, that's a good one!! ^^

And my favorite episode has always been the one where the Brain Spawn make everyone on Earth dumb, except for Fry. I liked the planet with all the cute, Nibbler-people. They were adorable. And my favorite part was when Fry had to go to the library and fight the biggest Brain of them all. LOL. XD
 
My favourite was Raiders of the Lost Arcade, as I like video games a lot.

I also like Episode One: Space Pilot 3000 a lot.
 
Some of favourites (all would be a huge list):
The Sting (brilliantly thought out episode, though I am a Fry/Leela fan so..)
Teenaged Mutant Leela's Hurdles (so cute, that is all)
Devils Hands are Idle Play Things (best finale of a show, ever)
the Titanic ep (for the life of me I cant remember the title. That's a classic)
 
The Sting was funny, although it airs too much in Canada.
