Who else loves this new invention? Also, it's a certain item in Celadon city that replays all the soundtrack from the original silver and gold games.
 
You might want to flip your sentences around. But it is cool.
 
I love this item. It's the most epic item EVER.

But I don't understand why they rescored the tracks instead of just using the GBC ones. They could use the time wasted on rescoring 8-bit tracks for programming new Battle Frontier or Card Flip game.

But I'm not complaining, GB Player is ultraawesome.
 
Maxim if they kept the original original 8 bit it would have sounded too horrible.
 
Emm.. I`m not really excited about this item..^^; I might use it sometime, but not really much. [I like more remixes.]
 
how does it work? do you have to get the item out and use it all the time, or can you just activate it and all of the games music is from gs?

Same boat here. However I may use it to see what it's like once or twice but in the end I actually prefer the remixes better plus I do have a working gold version due to a replaced battery I could play if I wanted to hear the old music so the item isn't that useful for me either.=/

Yeah you get the item once in Celadon and you can use it all the time.
 
seems nice. It would have been nicer if they also added some of the FR/LG sounds tough (mmm, maybe too much). I hope they'll re-use the concept in R/S remakes ^^

Question: Does the Route 101 have an 8-bit track too? If so can someone maybe post a link to it?

I meant more that fans like the originals and like little reminders of them. It's been said on this thread already tho.
 
Yeah, this is cool. It should have more tracks, like the whole game in 8 bit.

Though, when i saw this thread, i thought you meant the GB player for gamecube.
