The Genrai Saga
Summary: A young girl named April takes on the Genrai region. With entirely new (made up) pokemon and adventures. What will she haft to face?
Genre: Action/ Adventure/ Romance
Rated: PG-13 (parental guidance is suggested for those under 13 years of age. For reasons of language and violence.)
Prologue:
A young girl lay down in a bed, her eyes glued and wide-awake staring at the ceiling. She had brown hair wavy hair the reached just past her shoulders. She had her blue and purple striped P-Js on that really helped show her blue eyes. She slipped out of bed as soon as she heard her alarm clock go of. She rushed into the bathroom and got changed into her usual clothes.
Coming out she had a pink tank top that was made of slippery silk. Her hair was neatly brushed and placed into pink tales at the sides of her head. She wore a golden necklace, it had a heart shaped locket where a picture of her father was placed inside. She had thick white jeans that were not baggy but tight. They ended at her shins so you could see her light blue socks that laced at the end of them. She had white running shoes with blue lines running around them.
“Alright, today I’ll start my pokemon journey!” Cheered the girl. “I, April Diamond, will become a pokemon master!” The girl rushed down stairs and saw her mother drinking some tea. Her mother had long blue hair that ended at her back. She wore a black t-shirt that was tight but thick. She had pink pants on that were equally thick and tight. She had shining blue eyes to match her hair. Finally, she wore pink sandals that perfectly fitted her feet.
On the table was a bowl of cereal with already poured milk. “Good Morning April; ready to talk to professor Reggie?” asked April’s Mother as she smiled brightly at her daughter.
“You bet Mom! I’m all packed and ready for take off! There’s no need to worry!” Reminded April. The girl gulped down the food and grabbed her little blue bag. The bag had one strap that crossed her chest diagonally. The strap had red and white orbs on it. With that, the girl ran out the door like a hungry Mamoswine would for food.
She walked through the small town towards a building that was down a long hill. She happily skipped down to the building, every step bringing more excitement. At the doors was a man in a lab coat waiting. He had gray hair with some purple shown in it, a light pink shirt that was tucked into purple pants. His long hair was tied back into a pony tail.
“Hello professor Reggie!” April greeted the old man.
“Hello April, can I ask you a favor?” said Reggie worriedly.
“Sure anything!” chirped April.
“Well… Ok! You see these strange people came by the lab earlier today and took my pokemon! They said something about “We don’t need distractions! We will takes these pokemon and bring them where they deserve to be! In a marvelous new world we discovered!” I didn’t get who they were but they stole all my pokemon except for three… I want you to take one and bring me my others back!” Explained Reggie. Taking in the large amount of new information, Aqua nodded and followed Reggie into his lab.
“Here, pick from one of the three please.” Reggie said.
With that April took the three pokemon out of their pokeballs to see them. One in the shape of a sheep, its fur was as if it was on fire! Its eyes glowed red like its body. Another was the shape of a dog and was green, it had two leaf like ears and a long vine like tail. The last one was shaped like a cat with webbed paws, its tail looked like it was made of bubbles, its eyes were dark blue.
“This is Shirua --the sheep like one—this here is Desia –the dog like one--- and finally, meet Casuru --the cat like one-- ” Explained Professor Reggie. “You must pick one of these three two assist you.”
“Ok… Can I please take Casuru?” Asked April.
“Of course you can! Here I’ll also give you these and this!” Said Reggie. He first pulled out 6 pokeballs (including Casuru’s) then a small pink cell-phone like device. “These are pokeballs and this is a pokedex! I’d like you to become a pokemon trainer so you can raise and train pokemon. If you’d like you can tackle the gym challenge of coordinating challenge, but that’s up to you. What I want is for you to capture and train as many pokemon as you can. I want you to become strong enough to take down those villains you’re likely to encounter. I know some of the dangers you’ll be facing so please accept in training many pokemon! Be sure to be safe and take care of yourself and your pokemon!” Explained Professor Reggie.
With that April nodded, “You can count on me professor!”
“I hope so… Oh, and you can just call me Reggie!” exclaimed Reggie.
“Alright, Reggie, no need to worry!” Assured April. She then patted her new partner, Casuru, and the two headed out the lab.
