The Ginga-Dan's Final Showdown starts in November

At the end of today's one-hour special, a long trailer for the final Ginga-Dan showdown was shown.

I didn't take notes from the thing, but from the preview:

- Hunter J and Pluto will have some role
- Handsome, Shirona, Shigeru, and Nanakamado-Hakase will also have some role.
- Dialga and Palkia look like they have those weird things around their waists that Arceus has.

Starting next week, the show will have a weekly segment letting us know about the Ginga-Dan's exploits up to this point.

The trailer said that the final showdown will start in November. There was no indication of how many episodes it'll last.

There was so much awesome in the preview, but it could all be ruined if they try to cram everything into two episodes.

Though the fact that they'll apparently be building up to the big moment via post-episode refresher courses is promising.
 
Of course it is. But if they are doing Ginga-Dan in November that would mean all of October is filler and all of November is the finale with December filler again? Doesn't sound promising and looks like Sunnyshore is really a way off,
 
Team Galactic Finale? Loads better already than the Groudon, and Kyogre episodes. The animation is better, and this thing seems fleshed out. Even if it gets a rush job, from what I was able to see, fantastic. Shame it appears Ash only uses Pikachu and Gliscor, hopefully that's not true.
 
I also hear Oak is in this as well. If so then by golly they really are doing better with story.

True, a two-parter isn't gonna handle the potential epicness of that.

But nevertheless, it'll still be leagues better than what they did with Aqua & Magma.

Also, YAY for Shigeru's appearance. With HGSS, I think they should make him the Leader of Viridian Gym. I know that he's now a researcher and stuff but I can really see him in the position of Gym Leader. Despite his research, he has still all his strong Pokemon and could fill the role of the Leader very well. Even in the games, they say he's constantly leaving the Gym. So, it could as well be the case here, as he does his research. Also, it's proven that a researcher Gym Leader isn't impossible (see Blaine).
 
From what I could see, there's at least 2 animation directors involved with this. Iwane and Shimura I'm certain of, so it's going to be two episodes..uhh...at the least. The quality of the video was poor and jumping around like crazy, but some of it seemed Tamagawa-ish to me, so it could end up being three if I'm right. Providing it's not a collab.
 
November? That could very start at DP150 for all we know.
Gary and Cynthia make reapparances (hope we see some new pokemon from them).
This could very well either be the plot based on the DPP games (if they added the Torn World/Giratina business). Hopefully there is some sort of tag battle between Ash/Gary (since Barry apparently plays no role in this as of now) and Mars/Jupiter.
 
Tamagawa....Iwane....Shimura.....the holy trinity of AD's.....doing the finale? Fuck this I'm leaving before i get a stroke from too much happy.

Yay for Gary and Cynthia! I had a feeling Gary might do something in the Galactic final as in his last appearance he said something about going to check out Azelf... but I didn't expect it too much to really happen, maybe now Scott will stop complaining about Gary's role in DP
 
Wow, they're actually building up to this!? Did they ever do that before, other than for the movies? They better not disappoint now after coming so far. And awesome how almost all the DP characters are appearing in this.
 
Yeah build up is happening cause Advanced fucked it all up story wise.

I wouldn't say almost all DP characters... there's a lot more than that (like the rivals)

I guess it'll be 4 episodes - being all of November = DP 150-153
Then I guess it'll continue like that:
154-158 can be "fillers" (156 will probably be season 12 last ep)
159 we know is the Pokéthlon ep
160-161 "fillers"
162-165 Sunnyshore
166-170 final ribbon + "fillers"
171-185 league+GF
185-195 (or less) the E4 if they do it

Well... if it does go this way, I guess maybe I was wrong and Sinnoh will continue even after April

I think this thread should be sticky - we have a whole month of speculation and they'll probably keep throwing more little previews

If they go up to 190 I wouldn't be surprised actually. Sure I was say 160 and that's it for Sunnyshore but if they are going to at least get far to be able to fill space till gen 5 its feasible.
 
Did someone say Cynthia? Or better yet, did someone just say Gary? OH, YEAH! Mitchman isn't the only one spazzing about this.
