i remember way back when the TCG first came out. at the time i was into magic the gathering and was working hard on my red. i remember the news would talk about how they would sell out fast and stores would have them on back order. it would take forever for them to get a shipment. at first i only collected the cards. had no real wanting to learn to play, also no one i knew played it. they all played magic. so a yr or so later i find out toysrus has tournaments and i went. i got my butt kicked really bad. so from that day i got better cards learned every rule and got better. a few yrears later a card shop openend in my town. they had unoffical PKMN tournaments. it was fun we would win booster packs and such. eventually i became a gym leader of the card shop. 1 because i has amazing decks that were hard to beat and 2 cuz i was the oldest kid playing lol. eventually half way though HS i met the girl who im now married to. so all my time and money went to her insted of my cards. ive thought about playing again but im back at the begining. no one i know playes the games, have no where to play them and all the offical torunaments are in cities i cant get to. ugh...
