I'm SO incredibly fucking sick and tired of feminazis bullshitting about how our world would be much more 'peaceful' if women were in charge. We men are naturally protectors and providers. We are the bread-winners of society. It is certainly true that there have been many men throughout the ages who have caused us to call into question their humanity, but this same truth also holds true for women... yet on a lesser scale. Sometimes I have pondered why this is so, but now I think I have realised the answer. It is because men have a natural drive to be great. That is our innate nature! To me, there is not even a shred of doubt about this. But toward what end do men strive for greatness? Well, every man is a unique, intricate and evolving universe unto himself. Thus, because every man is different in varying ways, we seek greatness for varying reasons. Our destiny of attaining greatness (and, more specifically, in WHICH area that greatness is achieved) depends upon our tendencies, our capabilities and our aspirations. A man does NOT have to be considered morally 'good' by the opinions of a majority of people to yet be considered great. This is an EXTREMELY salient point. Goodness and greatness are NOT identical to each other. This might seem obvious to many (if not most!) of you here, though it unfortunately escapes the mental grasp of a lot of people these days. Dictionary.com defines the word 'greatness' (in this particular context) like this:

"the property possessed by something or someone of outstanding importance or eminence"

Some of the cruelest men described in recorded modern history also happen to be some of the greatest, if we honestly adhere to that particular definition. Adolf Hitler, for example, springs to mind. He is often used as an example when people discuss how inhumane some men are capable of being (and rightly so, in my opinion!). I don't condone his actions nor will I ever support his twisted beliefs, yet to say that Hitler was NOT a great man is utterly absurd. Why is this? It's because greatness transcends the man-made boundaries of 'good' and 'evil'. Greatness transcends morality. One can be great without simultaneously being 'good'. A great man must achieve more than what is commonly expected of him. To ask whether Hitler fulfilled this prerequisite is, as far as I'm concerned, absurd because the answer is so blatantly obvious. Hitler took a country in turmoil, unified it and proceeded to use it as a military machine. There were some dissenters, true, but to unify the country to the extent which he did alone is beyond normal. He instigated the deaths of millions and millions of Jews in the Holocaust. His charisma was so utterly intense and penetrating (especially in his role as a brilliant orator) that people felt irresistably and inexplicably DRAWN to him during that particular time despite many of these people having later regretted siding with him and knowing that his actions were evil and worthy of condemnation. He was, in more ways than one, a human magnet. He relentlessly attracted people towards him and his cause. He and his Nazi Party came damn close to subjugating this entire fucking planet. Similar things can be said of other tyrants, particularly those of the 20th century (such as Stalin and Mao Zedong). Now let's look beyond the issue of morality. Could a woman accomplish things that are equally as great (be they 'good' or 'evil')? Possibly, though the answer to that question is HIGHLY debatable. But most importantly, has a woman historically achieved an equal magnitude of greatness as Hitler, Stalin or Mao? I am sincerely convinced that the answer to that question is an emphatic 'FUCK NO'. And the reason why is this: because a woman, though she may seek greatness, seeks that greatness in name first and foremost. On the same token, a man seeks greatness in action first and foremost. If we men are great only in name but not in action, then we are but mere pretenders. Men, since time immemorial, have sought greatness and have gained it more through their actions than their words. Actions speak louder than words. Their actions, admirable or repulsive, are a testament to their greatness. Those who have a reputation of being great men SUPPORT that reputation through their actions. They support that reputation through their blood, sweat and tears. Feminazis, name me just ONE so-called 'evil' man such as Hitler, Stalin or Mao and I will easily respond to you by naming AT LEAST a dozen men who were good-natured, compassionate, pure of heart, strong and honourable and who DEFEATED those 'evil' men. The greatness of men well and truly transcends our limited scope of morality. Men have made this world beautiful and men have also made it ugly. By the hands of men, civilisations have risen and by the hands of men, civilisations have fallen. Countless lives have been extinguished due to men and countless lives have been saved due to men. The greatness of men is NOT restricted to what YOU personally think is admirable or respectable. We men have made history and we have recorded that history too. After all, history is HIStory (ie. his story - the story of man)... not HERstory. Men are the rightful inheritors of the total human story. Men are the heroes of this grand story as well as the villains. Women, by comparison, are merely background characters. This is NOT what I'm saying. This is what HISTORY is saying. I am only acting as a mouth-piece for history itself. The total human story is far, FAR grander than what any of us can possibly comprehend (including myself) and this is because of men. Men are the be-all and end-all of human existence. I just wanted to get this off my chest.

tl;dr.

There are over one hundred billion galaxies. Whatever you're angry about does not matter.

It is because men have a natural drive to be great. That is our innate nature!

It is also very arguable that this stems from testosterone.

Anyhow, this sounds like male supremacy to me. Anybody that upholds that kind of immoral crap just makes me laugh.

Also, I'm pretty sure this doesn't belong here?

I have no doubt that there are also over one hundred billion universes. So the fuck what? Your point is irrelevant.

Whatever you're angry about does not matter.

I never said it mattered. Your baseless assumption also does not matter in the cosmic scheme of things.

Very true. The hundred billion galaxies is just in our universe.

Also true. So why get so worked up?

It may be bullshit that the world would be more peaceful if it was ruled by women, but it's not like many women have ever had the chance to rule either. Men have subdued women for nearly all history, no wonder it's the history of men, not women.

Seriously, you are waaaaay of here.

Okay. I think the main reason is that throughout history women were repressed. Now that they have a voice, they're using it. Also there's this weird stereotype that women are smarter than men...

From what I see, it would also be complete bullshit if men ruled over the world.
Think about it: Men and Women are the same, we just have different body parts and different growth cycles.

Does nature seriously make one gender better than the other in terms of rights?

I'd like to see men alone populate the Earth.

As I said, there's a reason women are mere background characters (as you call them). Well, it's because of men's huge ego and lust for power. That's hard to deny.

I'm not quite certain what your issue is here.

I'll be bashed for this, but I completely agree with you, Rishi.

It is also very arguable that this stems from testosterone.
Male brains are naturally more action and logically oriented than women, who are naturally geared towards being mothers. That can't be denied from the paleolithic age to today.

there are plenty of things women are naturally geared to be besides mothers, and I'm sure the same is true for men and action/logic.

I would really rather not see the biology card played in this as far as who should be more dominant in society, because 1) society isn't supposed to be based on nature as far as I can tell, and 2) this world is of men and women, and men alone likely wouldn't understand women's needs -- as women likely wouldn't understand men's needs, either. if we live in a world with two genders, I don't see it being a nice place to be unless both genders' needs and wants, etc. are taken into account.

and...
I'm no 'feminazi', but OP really does look like a sexist from what little of the long rant I bothered to read :|

I'm a woman, but I agree 100% with Rishi.

My main problem with women and power is the special treatment that they receive. It defeats the whole purpose of working your way up, and it's a punch in the stomach for those that worked hard to get to where they are. If you don't work your way up, you're not going to learn anything essential. People hired for trivial reasons are not going to be any good when something fails. Why? They aren't going to have the knowledge or experience to handle the situation!

Oh, special treatment. You mean how they make significantly less on average then men do for doing the exact same job? Is the kind of special treatment you're talking about?

Sure, women were respressed, but they BY FAR made up that time.

It's a level playing field now.

I think there is an issue. Like why do women in the work place have to wear hideous suits to look like men, in order to be considered professional (Hilary Clinton). Also, a lot of this stuff stems from Christian thought.

My opinion:

Women need to earn their position. There are those who already have (Um e.g. the Soviet heroine of WWII?)

Men are currently better in status because they've proven themselves. If a woman can step up and better those people, then be my guest. I have *nothing* against women, just that they whine about being inferior when they clearly don't see that the world's leaders, richest men, best cooks, etc work their butts off for it. Bill Gates didn't become a billionaire without starting his company and getting four hours of sleep per day.

Hitler didn't become one of the most (in)famous leaders of the twentieth century by sitting back and doing nothing.

We know there are female leaders who can reach the level of men (e.g. Hillary Clinton). They dared to step up and prove themselves. I haven't seen many women in history who have tried it, so don't say it's because of sexism. If they're determined to be equal or even superior, then let them show us what they're made of.

Otherwise they will always be one step behind.

Sure, you can say "We weren't given equal opportunities!", but so what? Now you do. Even if some bosses pay you less than men, you can appeal and get that fixes (note that if your work matches that of a man's completely and you still get paid less, you can go file a complaint and get equal salary).

Now you do have equal opportunity. You go the same schools. You go to the same jobs. You're in the army. You're in the police and armed forces. You can do everything men can.

Now go and show us that you're really equal without complaining.
Do it.

No. Women who are hired only because they're women
