Team Rocket, in an attempt to come back to power after failing in Johto, have begun experimentation into giving humans the ability to use Pokemon attacks. (BTW, I'm following the idea that Gen I and Gen III are simultaneous as are Gen II and Gen IV, this means that Kanto is how it was in GSC) because of this, a virus has spread across the world, transforming random people into Pokemon. The virus' symptoms before the actual transformation include heavy exhaustion, high fever, and/or lack of thirst or hunger. The last is most dangerous as some afflicted died from not eating for the days they were sick.
No one knows why these certain people have changed, and some of the transformed are even disgusted at the idea of being half human. There have been several attempts by some Pokemon professors, such as Ivy, Birch, and Oak (Birch having recently transformed into an Mightyena hybrid) to reverse the changes, but nothing has been successful. Though it has been noted that a couple Hybrids have been infected with Pokerus.
These transformations happened a month ago, giving most of the new hybrids time to get used to their powers. You are (possibly) a hybrid, or at least know a hybrid, and are in search of a cure or possibly other hybrids. Watch out for Team Rocket, though, because they have been seen near some recent hybrid disappearances...

Name: Saigo Kaijuu (following western conventions)
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Hybrid Species?: Lucario
Appearance: Blue fur-like mustache and eyebrows, but black hair that tends to fall in clumps of four on his head. His ears are slightly pointed and also covered in blue fur. On his chest and hands are the spikes of a Lucario, and he has one's tail. His legs are double-jointed and are covered in the same blue fur as his arms.
Clothing: Long black coat that covers up his tail and arms. He wears a shirt, but the spike on his chest has punched a hole through it. He still wears pants, but they get uncomfortable at times with his tail.
Pokemon Team?: Flare the Charizard (starter), Sylvia the (Shiny) Ditto , Barret the Metang, Vincent the Spiritomb, Keitaro the Shuckle, and Hyper the Jolteon

Bio: A trainer originally from Kanto who recently entered Sinnoh after losing in the Johto League. He had visited Hoenn before that, and while he collected the badges, he never got around to battling the Elite Four of the area. Only a week after managing to catch Vincent, he was struck by the virus. Thankfully, it was after he had already reached Solaceon, where he was taken care of. After he recovered and discovered his Lucario Traits, he freaked out. He has since calmed down and learned how to use his Aura Senses and Powers.
