Yeah, PRETEND you don't like Pokemon in this thread, as an April Fools day joke, here! You can make up all kinds of fake and non-sencive reasons not to like Pokemon, as well. ;)

I stopped liking Pokemon today because Ash is a loser, and, Pikachu is yellow.:mad: Yellow SUCKS! They should make him uhh...I don't know! ANYTHING but YELLOW!!!


I also dislike Pokemon because the charictors in the games don't look enouth like me! And there are too many cute ones.:sweat:

AND the fact that uhh...I JUST DON'T LIKE POKEMON! lol

(should this be moved to a game board or something? o.o)

i dont like pokemon anymore cuz it made me break my arm yesterday. right under my shoulder where ya cant cASt it... and its totally pokemons fault

Screw Pokemon, the series has been going on too long. I'm moving onto Yu-Gi-Oh now.

I don't like Pokemon anymore because of it's lack of intelligence now. EVs and IVs? Ridiculous! What happened to "Let's train to pwn!"? Now it's "Let's train to have one or two hxc stats!" Pokemon sucks now. It's retarded.
AND THE STEEL TYPE. OMG, 'GOD' TYPE? So many resistances is unfair!
It used to be Psychic :l! Psychic ftw. Now Psychic is weaker, thanks to the cruelness that is Dark.

Oh, and Bidoof. Wtf were Nintendo thinking!? (This is true. I hate Bidoof. xD)

You know, I actually really don't like the anime much anymore. Every once in a while it has a really good and fun episode that gets me hopeful again, but then by the next episode it pulls the regular crap and I get disheartened again. There was a time when I actually gave a damn about the characters, a time as late as 2006, but by now everyone except for Team Rocket, Chimchar, Croagunk and Jun makes me want to break things.

Of course, I could always pretend I don't like the rest of the Pokemon things like the games and such, but that would be lying.

By the way, I also dislike Pokemon...becase it's pretty much RESPONCBLE for that STUPID 'Pirates VS Ninja' meme!!!:bash: (Team Aqua=Pirates, and, Team Magma=Ninja XDDD In reality, i'm really just neutral to that meme, though not really into it, and, I doubt Pokemon would of started that meme, anyways...plus, I never even realized Team Magma were ninja-like until TODAY, anyways 0.o But it kinda makes me think their even COOLER than before...lol XD ^_^ i've always loved the magmas a lot when i was younger, they were pretty cool haha something about how they looked, quite bada** looking and stuff with the hoodies heh).

Also, they made waaay too many legendary Pokemon. 0_o; They just aren't very 'special' anymore, ya know? (that's not a joke...there kind of ARE too many legendary Pokemon now XD ahh well it's ok i suppose...lol)
 
I quit Pokémon. I just got owned by my rival after we got our starters-- twice. The game is cheating.
 
The Pokemon fandom is comprised of obsessive compulsive, brats. The kind who groan about every single thing that isn't according to their liking, and attempt to comprise arguments from nothing, while ignoring anything and everything logical.

You know, you all are right. Pokemon DOES suck like a Dyson sweeper. I mean, what is it, really? A show about a world with some magical Lassie-smart monsters that you can put in your pocket? I mean, IS there a concept that is any MORE "twelve-year-old-boy" than that?!

And just LOOK at the anime - an anime based on a video game! OBVIOUSLY it's just a half-hour long commercial for a vapid consumer product, and nothing good can come of that. Did we learn NOTHING from Transformers? THAT irrelevant piece of crap was so worthless, who even remembers it any more? And yet here we are again, paying good money to buy DVD's of one long infomercial. What is WRONG with us?

You know, I've had it. It's high time I stopped watching "cartoons" (it's impossible to convey the total disdain that would be in my voice if I were speaking this word aloud right now) like some drooling larva of the bourgeois, sucking on the glass teat that is television. I'm an adult, and the proper subjects for adults are adult things - things relevant to the here-and-now only, REAL things, like politics and reality shows. There's more real, human drama in every minute of Jerry Springer than there could possibly be in ten years of "Pokeyman." I mean, fiction as a whole is a pretty worthless pursuit anyway – a industry built on elaborately spun lies? Way to encourage kids to tell the truth, folks – but science fiction and fantasy fiction are like...crack for your brain. They do nothing but spur people to live in La-la-land and teach nothing of value to the REAL world. No doubt the modern epidemic of schizophrenia can be laid right at the feet of Mary Shelley, Edgar Allen Poe, Jules Verne and H.G. Wells, those third-rate hacks from the nineteenth century. Anyone who focuses on things that don't exist is dangerously disturbed, and this 300-year-old cultural sickness really needs to stop, now.

Right! Well, suiting action to words, I'm off to rid myself of all DVD's and books that are not true. For Pokemon, I reserve a special fate: DVD's to be crushed into sparkling powder and scattered, all paper products and printed fan stories to be shredded and pulped, then used to make paper on which I'll advertise the book-burning I'm going to hold at the fiction section of my central library. I'll save a big stuffed Pikachu to be crucified and burned in effigy, so bring the kids! It'll be an important lesson in real life, a perfect example of how civilized adults ought to behave.


Torches are welcome; pitchforks will be strictly optional.

Lol, April fools is over now, isn't it? Oh well.

May is gone, now I can't watch my little cousin drool every time she's on camera in a bathing suit. He is quite amusing, there actually IS drool! ^^

And, he doesn't drool anymore when she comes for guest appearances 'cause her boobies are gone! Poor cuz... =(

I know this was an April Fool's thread but the only reason I got Platina was to live on the tradition. And because I have my Sims Castaway and Phantom Hourglass game, I stopped playing Platina before I got to Tobari but I'll get back to it eventually. The point is that I'm not spending every waking moment playing this game that all other Pokemon fans are raving about.
