The "Jewish Media"?

To me, it seems that this whole idea of a "Jewish-run media" is just a branch of the old conspiracy theories that Jews control the world or something crazy like that. Usually people use the phrase in a negative way, which only heightens the subtle anti-Semitism.
 
Well, first result of "Jewish media" on Google gets this:

...That's one example, I guess. It comes from a site that apparently is against the belief that "Jews have an inherent right to dominate entire industries, societies, and governments where they are not the majority but represent 2% or less of the people." There are probably more examples of this around...

If you want to find detailed "evidence" on the "control" the Jewish community has over the media, check out the various white power and Neo-Nazi websites. They have oodles. And it's quite hilarious if you don't take it seriously (like so many of these idiots do).

It's yet another anti-Semitic remark in an attempt to blame everything in the world on the Jews/pin things on Judaism. Just like with the "Jewish Barbie dolls"
 
It's amusing to me that for the most part the people spitting on the "Jewish media conspiracy" here and now (rightfully so, one adds) are usually the same lot that are the first to bow down and worship the concept of the evil "Liberal media conspiracy".

About the only thing that control the media is the number of people watching each channel ; the media will present information in the way they believe will allow them to compete for the largest number of vieweres/readers/listeners, while still pretending that what they show is News.

Hence why CNN, Fox and co all have a decided American slant on news - because they're made by and for Americans. BBC tend to have a more European, intelectual slant, where Fox tend more toward lower-middle class workers (think the Simpsons family*, or the Hill family, etc) American slant, LCN or the Journal de Montréal in Canada tend toward the same leanings as Fox (and TQS is even worse), whereas Radio-Canada or La Presse and Le Devoir has leanings generally closer to that of the BBC, and so forth.

But if you're outside their target audience, every last of those will appear biased to you - because their presentation is made to appeal (and thus, conform) to a world view different from yours.

That's how media works today. And yes, it's bullshit.

*The family. Not the TV show, which never miss an occasion to take a shot at Fox.

For the record, it was a comment on this thread that made me think of it. And in case you're wondering, I joined that messageboard to ask about one of the articles on the main site that I needed for a source on a research paper.
 
Jewish Media? Exactly what is that supposed to mean? Not all liberals are jews. Not all jews are liberals.
