The Kane Dome​

A tournament has been organised by Bartlet Kane herself. The Dome where the tournament will be held has been built in the middle of a desert, and is large enough to contain a city. In fact, it does contain a city.

Shops are spread throughout the Dome, selling a variety of Trainer essentials, tourist collection items, and anything that falls in between. The dome has it's own Safari Zone, the largest one in the world, and it's own hotel chain.

A satellite has been launched, just to pick up The KD Network and broadcast the signal to the world in several languages, to cover any events relating to the dome, such as the tournament.

Hundreds of trainers have joined the tournament, and all they had to do to become qualified was acquire a Trainer Card.

Russell Cage's Profile

Name: Russell Cage.

Age: 16.

Gender: Male.

Region: Rustboro City, Hoenn.

Background: Russell became a trainer at the age of fourteen after he graduated from the Pokémon Trainer's School. Prior to starting his journey, he had found an Odd Keystone, and exchanged it for an Old Amber, which he revived to attain his Aerodactyl.

He started by challenging Roxanne, and he managed to win using only his Aerodactyl. He then travelled south through Petalburg Woods, where he caught a Shroomish, and attempted battling Norman, only to lose quickly.

Russell then travelled to Dewford Town by boat, and managed to defeat Brawly. His next wins in Mauville City and Lavaridge Town followed quickly. At that point he had gathered a team of four, with Shroomish evolving into Breloom.

Sometime between defeating Flannery and defeating Norman, Russell made an astonishing trip to Unova by flying on his Aerodactyl. He caught some more Pokémon there, as well as acquired some Badges, and he returned to defeat Norman, Winona, and Tate and Liza.

Soon afterwards, Russell caught a Spheal, and by the time he defeated Juan, it had become a Walrein. Records show that he took about two hours to defeat the Elite 4 and the Champion, which isn’t a record, but a respectable achievement.

It is unknown what Russell did during the year between being registered in the Hall of Fame, and joining the tournament.

Pokémon

Aerodactyl is Russell’s first Pokémon, and his strongest one so far. He was obtained through reviving an Old Amber, and accomplished some amazing feats, such as flying to Unova, and defeating a Walrein by itself. It is known to be very competitive, and willing to take up any challenge Russell poses on it.

Russell’s second Pokémon. He was caught shortly after Russell started his journey, and evolved shortly Russell’s trip to Unova. It Is known to be very calm and collected, and the most passive member of his current Team of three. He has some respectable accomplishments, such as defeating Norman’s entire Gym on his own.

A late addition to Russell’s team, but he is perhaps the most vital member after Aerodactyl. Walrein, even since he was caught as a Spheal, proved to Russell that he will win every match he’s in. Even though he isn’t as competitive as Aerodactyl outside of battling, when it comes to battles, he is willing to do anything to win.

William Heartlorn's Profile

Name: William Heartlorn.

Age: 17.

Gender: Male.

Hometown: Icirrus City, Unova.

Background: His mother died shortly after the announcement of the tournament, and that set him off to a journey, not to become a Trainer, but to find his sister, and inform her of their mother’s death.

However, he never found Linda, and ended up with a respectable team of Pokémon to battle with. As the tournament approached, he knew that Linda would participate in the tournament, and to find her, he had to go to the dome.

He trained in Unova before travelling to the Kane Dome, collecting a few Badges along the way.

Pokémon

William’s first Pokémon was Reuniclus. He obtained him as a Solosis through his mother, who gave him to William as a gift. He is William’s main battling Pokémon, and strongest one.

William caught Stoutland during his training for the tournament as a Herdier, and she quickly became a strong battler of his. She, however, wasn’t used as much as Reuniclus, and that seemed to have caused a rivalry between the two.

Maractus was a Pokémon caught just before the tournament. She wasn’t used for any battles, as she was very new. William only caught her to fulfill the “three Pokémon” tournament requirement.
