I bought Moodymann's Moodymann album, from this year, not too long ago and I was really taken away with it, great variety of house, funk, soul, and R&B. Loved it on first listen.

(Self Bump - I feel like this thread could be popular if given a bit more activity.)

I bought Salad Days by Mac DeMarco a couple months back, I listened to it twice but never really went back to it until yesterday. Absolutely loved it! The sound of his guitar is just fantastic, so easy-going and really seems to embody what I like to hear in indie rock - slacker anthems. This is the kind of music that could have been the lost soundtrack to Clerks. Definitely worth checking out, and I know it'll be making my top ten of the year.

The album Amageddon by Guy Sebastian really impressed me. I recently bought it off iTunes even though it's about 2 years old now I've only just heard some of the songs from the album and I'm impressed. I recommend anyone else who's looking for new music to try google that album and listen to a few of his songs.

OutKast's Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, which I only just got round to hearing. Solid, funky, stoned rap. I could have done without the skits, but the actual songs were all great.
