To avoid the grimness of the posing the question 'what songs would you like played at your funeral :dead:' Here's another question. If it was your last day on Earth and you had just enough time to listen to your favorite album one last time, what album would you choose and why?

Personally i'd choose '11:11' by Regina Spektor. I've always loved that album and it was the songs on it that inspired me to learn how to play the piano.

Wood of Ypres' Woods 5: Gray Skies & Electric Light. The last track, Alternate Ending, is about someone's final moments, so it would be pretty fitting.

>Album Title Goes Here< by deadmau5. Most of my favorite songs are on that album.

Probably Godspeed You! Black Emperor's Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven. It's basically the closing track to life and stuff.

This is tough. Maybe 'Dark Side of the Moon' by Pink Floyd or 'Unknown Pleasures' by Joy Division.

I'd say Scream & Light Up The Sky by The Honorary Title. It's not my absolute favorite in particular, but something about it just makes it a really special album to me.

Smash by The Offspring

It was the first CD I ever listened to, and as a result Offspring were the first band I became a fan of, which I still currently am. I love every song on it.

It's a tough call. I'd probably have to go with Kid A - not my favorite album, but probably the most thematically appropriate, especially given the closing of "Motion Picture Soundtrack" - "I will see you in the next life" and whatnot.

Either The Immaculate Collection by Madonna or The Fame Monster by Stefani Germanotta. I'm leaning more towards the latter just because I've listened to it for years and it still sounds fresh to this day.

I'll probably never come to a definitive answer. If I could take a compilation, I'd take Yiruma's Ribbonized, but pushed for a particular individual album I'd take First Love by the same pianist. There are so many albums I could choose but I realised I wouldn't want a particular feeling so much as a serene, touching sound that allowed me to think back over my life. There are a lot of albums I adore but instrumental music allows me to be more in touch with myself, I feel.

Probably The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance for me. Not only was it the first album I ever listened to of my own accord, it's also an album I've listened to so many times that it's almost become a part of me. Plus, it fits the theme of death, as in the album the character of "The Patient" dies, with death coming to greet him in the form of a parade. I think it'd be a good fit.

I like sooo many things. ;___;

But if I had to choose, it'd be Spice Girl's Greatest Hits. Since it's one of the few CDs that has songs I utterly love, and I was a huge Spice Girl fan when younger. P:

"The Transformed Man" by William Shatner. It always put a smile on my face during difficult times. I certainly wouldn't mind bowing out with it.
