The legality of event Jirachi in standard OU

This Jirachi has been being given out in Japan for nearly a month now and it actually doesn't end until July 17th. I manged to obtain one from a friend, and the question im posing here is there any reason why this event Jirachi with Draco Meteor would not be used in standard play?

I've had a few people call hack on me already.

it's perfectly legal, does people are just frigin morons. You should just send 'em the (japanese) link were it shows that it's legally distributed.
