hi. i have been using the main site for a couple months now because i was trying to google a walkthrough for my ruby version since i only remembered the major parts and not that much about minor details. i have found it to be very useful and helpful since it has a lot more details then what i usually would associate as being a regular walkthrough. It is also thanks to the main site that i actually found out what EV and IV are, as well as the point of breeding since i initially thought breeding was a waste of time if all i needed was to make my team all level 99.
Furthermore on my recent ruby adventures..i just borrowed it from a friend because i wanted to get back into playing it. i used to have a sapphire many years ago. In my sapphire, i had a level ~87 swampert with the rest being around the 50s range. i only remember having a manetric and a flygon, besides my swampert. i only made it to steven once and usually only lasted up to the 2nd person. Then when i played my friend's ruby just a few months back, i had a level 71 zangoose, level 68 swampert, lvel 50s manetric, level 50s mightyenna, level 46 groudon, and a level 5 tailow. Then when i tried out against the elite 4, i think i only made to the 2nd person again. Then i initially decided to make my team level 99 or 100 before trying again, though i later decided to give the ruby back to my friend so that he could do it for me. So far, he only made my zangoose go to level 74 and then as far as i know, he decided to play other stuff since at that point in ruby, just leveling up would be too boring, i suppose.
Then i recently got his Black version 2, though i have not started it yet. i plan to play it and gather both my story mode team and my "actual team" in there, then transfer some of them to a pokemon y i may get later.
As for Evee, i only just recently found out he can evolve into 3 new ones. Upon finding out about Glaceon and how cool he looked, i was instantly inspired to try out the TCG so that i can use him in real life in addition to just the game. I have yet to see what cards i should need or use for my water deck, though i hope what i build ends up ok.
