Alakazam walked up to Meganium and Politoed.
"Glad to see you both have come. I trust you are ready to go?"
The two Pokemon looked at each other and nodded.
"I hope you realise the significance of this...many teams have failed us so far. Let's hope you won't..."
With that the two Pokemon left to try and retrieve Mew.
 
"This is a really important mission for us!" chirruped Meganium. "I hope we packed enough berries!" he wondered aloud.
 
"Yeah I hope so!" Polie laughed.
"We've got a tough journey ahead of us. Did you bring the map?"
 
"Yup!" Meganium fumbled through his pack for the map. "Here it is!" He announced. He then handed it to Polie.

"Alright. Let's see... Hmm maybe we should go through the Iron Mountains or we could go by the Shore Walkway, but that may take longer."
 
"I've heard that Shore Walkway is easily trekkable. I'd like go there. Which do you prefer?" claimed Meganium.

"Shore Walkway it is then," Polie exclaimed.
"We better pick up the pace. Night time is dangerous when you're by the coast here."
 
"Let's go! He shouted, as he bounded towards the shore. He felt excited to be going on his first important mission.

Night time was drawing closer and Polie began getting worried.
"Maybe we should look for somewhere to spend the night...any suggestions?" Polie asked.
 
"We could settle down in that cave." He pointed in the direction of the small cave with one of his vines.

"Great!" Polie blurted out. Polie began walking towards the cave and peered inside.
"Eh? Is that an Ursaring in there? We better be quiet and find somewhere else to sleep or we could chance the cave. Ursaring may be hibernating."
 
"Let's try sleeping-" Meganium was cut of by heavy breathing from something behind him. He shrieked and began to trot away.
 
Meganium turned to look at his pursuer. "It's only a Whismur and Gengar. I bet they made up the whole thing!"
 
"Have you guys got a problem or something?" he shouted over at them.
 
Meganium watched the miscreants scurry away. "At least we know the cave is safe." he murmured.

"Yeah. We going to go in or what? Sorry ladies first," Polie teased.
 
Meganium sidestepped to allow Polie through. "No, after you" he said.
 
"Fine I'm the better Pokemon after all." Polie walked into the dark cave, expecting every shadow to leap up and attack him.
 
Noticing Polie's nervousness, Meganium said "I think I can help." Then, he set off a bright light from his body, brightening the cave. *Sunny Day*
