Well, if there are any Pokemon I find frightening/threatening: it would be Hydreigon, Marowak, and Froslass.

For one, Hydreigon is a three-headed rape dragon that destroys anything that moves (Check the dex entry XD). Marowak wears bones and kills those that enter its territory without mercy. Froslass freezes people to death and displays their corpses in their lairs.

But my all time... ZEBSTRIKA.

Because of that mangy zebra-donkey-muppet's SHRILL FREAKING CRY XDDDD

Now, I ask you; what are the most frightening/threatening Pokemon to YOU GUYS?

Obviously, there's no such thing as imagination. ._.

Darkrai is the personification of nightmares, not a guy you'd want to tick off. D8; Knowing how bad my nightmares have gotten at times, it's pretty frightening that he can do that to someone FOREVER.

The most frightening to me would have to be either Hydreigon, Darkrai, or Beedrill. Hydreigon = creepy-looking, evil (Ghetsis and his annoying Hydreigon = evil), and dangerous. Darkrai = literally a nightmare. Beedrill = giant bee. I. Hate. Bees.

Garchomp and Sharpedo. I hated 'Jaws' because it scared the hell out of me, and I'm scared of sharks. Garchomp isn't a shark, technically, but he reminds me of a hammer-head shark...

That evil Togepi that appeared in a DP episode with a banana! In all seriousness, I used to find Granbull quite frightening back in Gen II.

None of them are really "frightening", but as for "threatening", I would probably say Drapion.
It looks pretty threatening and unpredictable.

Most threatening Pokemon are the top 6 threats in competitive play because once you face one of them, you can't think straight to try take it down before it kills you quickly or slowly (on Ferrothorn's case).

Golbat and zubat. I hate bats with a passion, so I would never be able to make it through a cave without having a heart attack. I also don't like wasps, so I imagine Beedrill would scare the crap out of me as well.

But all ghost type Pokemon are scary just purely because of things they do to you.

Tyranitar was the first pokemon that came to mind for me (terrifying), but Mewtwo is something I'd hate to face... I'd probably hate to face any of Dialga, Palkia, or Giratina, as they're pretty large. Reshiram and Zekrom seem to have the most "elemental" power (this not being a simple look at their highest attack stats), and Chandelure seems to have an especially fearsome flame. Haxorus has the appearance and power, so that might be threatening too.

Groudon might also make me sweat, haha.

At the moment, Yamask. According to the Pokédex entry, they used to be humans, and they even remember it. That's just creepy. The Litwick line seems kinda frightening, too. They live on the souls of people that they suck out, and burn them (renewable energy resource ftw). Appearance-wise, pretty much every fully-evolved Dragon-type would scare me if I were to suddenly meet one someday.

Frightening:Coballion's cry at 2 AM.
Threatening:Swampert,Kyurem,Electivire,Cradily,Drapion,Omastar.

Primeape. Just Primeape. You would never realize how frightening/threatening/horrifying it is for a pissed-off furball ape to be chasing you non-stop until it catches you, beating you up to death. Then it leaves you in the dust injured. :scared: I had horrible nightmares about it as a kid after I watched that "Primape goes Bananas!" episode.

Tympole.
It's a tadpole with a freaking human face.
And it also looks like....

Yeah right I forgot that Pokemon will come out of our videogames and kill us all.

I think this goes under "If they were real"

For me, if Pokemon were real and I was out in the wilderness, I would not want to run across Ursaring, Tyranitar, Hydreigon, because they would be frightening to meet. But in reality, I wouldn't want to run across anything that is bigger than me.

Gliscor. I wouldn't want to run into that thing in a dark alley.

Oh, and the Golbat sprite from RB. It's, like, 90% mouth.

Stupid thing is, I like bats.
