Over the past week or so Newsarama has slowly revealed the roster for the post-Civil War New Avengers team. Now that the full team is revealed (sort of)...I figure I'd throw it out here and see if any discussion starts. The team (with links to Newsarama's interviews with Bendis):

Echo
Ronin
Dr. Strange
Wolverine
Spider-Woman
Luke Cage
Iron Fist
Spider-Man

Not TOO big a change from the pre-Civil War line-up. I was disappointed by that. And by Dr. Strange being there. And Wolverine (he's such a whore). But the new Ronin is intriguing. And it'll be nice to see Echo not as a man.

Should also be interesting to see these guys go head-to-head with the Mighty team.
 
Dr Strange? The guy who could whip most HP Lovecraft horrors with one hand tied behind his back? He's a little out of this team's league.

Oh well, at least they retained Captain America on the team, since it's ridiculously obvious he's Ronin.
 
Eh, they need a powerhouse on the team. With no Sentry, Ms. Marvel, Iron Man, Thor, Hercules, or She-Hulk...someone's gotta take the punches. Also puts this team on Hulk's side when he comes back to Earth and goes after Iron Man.

As for Ronin's identity, my first thought was Cap, as well. But I'm not entirely positive it's him (it seems TOO obvious, but Marvel's not exactly the greatest company for surprises, so...).
