The Next Nintendo Pokemon Event

Do you think the next Pokemon event in the U.S.
will be the Night in the Sky Jirachi? Or the Pikachu-Colored Pichu?

What do you trainers think?
 
Probably the Pichu. If I remember correctly, the Jirachi was given out as a celebration for Tanabata, which isn't really celebrated outside of Japan.

It could by the Pikachu-Colored Pichu, I just hope it's a Wi-Fi
event instead of a Toys R Us event.
 
The Pichu might be the next one, though if our only Jirachi (the Wishmaker one, right?) isn't the equivalent of the NZ Jirachi (the one that unlocks the pokewalker course), they should run that event in my opinion. I don't know how they could incorporate it since we don't celebrate tanabata, but I'm sure if they are to put one out, they would figure a way.
 
I hope they do Jirachi, even if they do Pika-color Pichu first. Jirachi's the only pokemon I can't get.
 
I think it's the Pichu event next... isn't there a page on bulbapedia showing the next event(s)?

That sounds like a good equivalent to Tanabata actually.

I'm sure they'll release the Pikachu-Color Pichu though, cause I'm sure they're going to want to hype up the Gizamimi Pichu like Japan did. >_<;
 
Yeah, they should do the Jirachi event also...
I can't get Jirachi too and it'll be cool to
have one that is able to do the move Draco Meteor ^_^
 
I don't think either of those will happen any time soon if at all
I'm expecting the next American event to be the azure flute some time around Feb
and after that...wasn't there supposed to be a Latias/Latios event for HGSS? probably that if I'm not just crazy

Did Japan even get the Azure Flute? Cause if not, we're likely not going to get it until they do. And with their focus on HGSS now, it may become something that never sees the light of day.

They're going to send out the Pikachu-Colored Pichu more likely since it gets us the (useless) Gizamimi Pichu in HGSS, thus hyping the games. Similarly a NZ Jirachi equivalent would be likely since it would unlock the Pokéwalker course.

The Latios/Latias item won't come here until we get HGSS, as it's a key item and only useful in HGSS.

Yeah, I agree with you. I think the events will happen in this order:

1st Pikachu-Colored Pichu (hoping it's Wi-Fi)
2nd Night in the Sky Jirachi (if us Pokemon Trainers are lucky)
and 3rd Enigma Crystal (to enable you to catch Latias/Latos).

OR

1st Night in the Sky Jirachi (for Christmas)
2nd Pikachu-Colored Pichu
and 3rd Enigma Crystal

I vote the top one; Didn't no. 1 come at the same time as Arceus in JPN? So I expect it veery soon.
 
Shokotan/Pikachu-Colored Pichu: June 19 - Aug 31 (09), for Movie 9.
Movie Arceus: July 18th - Sept 30th (09), for Movie 9 as well.

So, they were pretty close/overlap, but started in reverse order in Japan compared to what we will get.

And even if they release Pikachu-Colored Pichu first, we can still get in our NZ Jirachi equivalent for Christmas. :3

But Mysterious/Enigma Crystal has to wait until spring. 10th Anniversary Mew as well. Both are pretty much HGSS related, so we have to get it over here before they can hold the events.
 
pcp is more likely to come out before jirachi, but i could be wrong, i dont really care either way im still going to get both of em
 
Obviously, I am calling Pikachu-Colored-Pichu, I think Jirachi is far off from us anyway, but the idea of it coming out during the Christmas season, is something that never crossed my mind, but it would be a nice treat.
 
Probably the PCP or Jirachi. Maybe they'll use one of them as a promotional thing for HGSS.
 
I hope its Jirachi. That would be a sweet christmas present from Nintendo! I've wanted a legit Jirachi for a long time now.
 
It only makes sense for Jirachi to come out at christmas because, in the western countries, the Winter Holidays are the closest thing to Tanabata that Jirachi can represent. This is because many winter holidays deal with stars as well. Most commonly is the Christian holiday of Christmas, which prominently features stars in its foundation story.
