The categories for the awards are:

Best Handheld game: (Any game for the gb,gbc,gba,ds)
Best Consolse game: (any game for N64, gamecube, wii)
Most anticipated game for 2009: (games that are coming out this year)
Worst game:
Favourite gym ldr/elite 4 leader:
Favourite pokemon:
Most wanted game to be created:

All entries should come by 20, March 2009.
 
Why should we list Nintendo games in the best console game genre? Most have been horrible and the best ones have come out on the 360.
 
Super Smash Bros Brawl for WII.

and there aren't any new games coming out for Gameboy Pocket, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo 64, or Nintendo Gamecube.
