I heard so much about this rumor back when Red and Blue first came out. Use Surf from the S.S. Anne's dock to get a truck. "Move it with Strength to find Mew!" Then there was "Take the car keys from the Game Corner, use them to move the truck!"

I, however never actually saw this much talked about truck. Does anyone have a screenshot of it? I've seen it in LeafGreen but I'd like to see how it was rendered in Red and Blue.

Obviously I know all of the rumor were disproven but this still always left me curious as to why it would be there at all - there was almost no background scenery objects back then.
 
The truck code works only if you caught all 150 pokemon in red and blue, but im not sure if it is in leafgreen or firered. I got my mew in silver (no cheat) and this was by the truck.
 
The truck wasn't IN Gold/Silver! XD

And yeah, seriously; the trick is ten years old. It's really not funny anymore. ._.
 
I never understood the fascination with this glitch, or any glitch for that matter. This is the only image I know there to be of the legendary truck:

After hearing so much about the truck, that's very underwhelming.
 
I guess because of this popular truck rumor they kept the truck in Firered/Leafgreen and added the hidden Lava Cookie for the people who actually try it out. o.o
 
Thank you. That helps a lot. I played through blue at least 10 times but never remember seeing the damn truck.
 
No prob...I was like "OMG!!! MEW IS UNDER THE TRUCK?!??!?!" when I got there i was like "WTF THIS IS SOOOOOO GAY!!" rumors are gay.
 
Yeah, lol...He cheated but I would too, why go through all that training and plus, you cant trade on an emulator.
