The "Or" Thread

I'm a little torn between picking pokemon to fill my team. Busy levelling them up to take on Red in HG and eventually casual online battles, so advice would be nice. I got a couple of choices, but I can't decide between a few. Help me pick?

Metagross or Tyranitar? (Tank)
Ampharos or Luxray? (Sp. Sweeper)
Dusknoir or Gengar? (Annoyer)

The rest of my team I'm pretty happy with (Feraligatr, Espeon, Ho-Oh) so if I could get the others to compliment them I'd be amped.

I reckon that people could follow this format if you gotta make tough decisions, if this is in the wrong place mods are welcome to move or nuke it.
