The Pichu in the 12th Movie

I've been wondering about the Pichu that's been getting alot of promotion lately. And there's also an upcoming event for it. But seriously, why is it so significant now in Sinnoh when it wasn't in Johto

Well its not exactly getting an event. Its counterpart the pikachu colored pichu is. But the notch ear pichu is getting a role in saving the world. Just how is unknown and why the ear has an extra fluff to it is not known as well.

Nope, thy just really want a remake and hope the signs point to one. Anyway, I read that this pichu is going to be along with a group of pichu in movie, but I don't know why yet. Its roll must be an important one in movie, whatever it is as it saves the world apparently.

Not likely; besides obvious reasons, if it was once the P-C Pichu, it'd be shiny as well. And do you honestly think Pikachu seems remotely female, like N-E Pichu?

If the Pikachu-colored Pichu were to appear in the movie at all, it might be related to Ash's Pikachu through Palkia's space-warping ability, rather than being the result of a time travel effect induced by Dialga. In Movie 10, Alberto was transformed into a Lickilicky while retaining his voice; Pikachu could similarly have its physique reverted to that of a Pichu, all the while having its colors unaltered. In this sense, the Pikachu-colored Pichu wouldn't be viewed as a shiny Pokémon, but literally as a Pichu that has Pikachu's colors.

I do not want the ending in the Anime to be used as anything but what the hell. If it is Ash's Pikachu why was he there when the PCP was doing all that stuff with the NEP? Sure maybe not to cause suspicion but come on.

srsly, though, PCP seems to be just your average Shiny Pichu. It's been around since Gen II and doesn't mean anything for Pikachu. I'm not saying its impossible, but it's hard to think that's really the case here when so many factors give it doubt.
