Hiya, guys! Recently I started off a long, tiring quest- to watch every single pokémon episode. From Ep 1, to Ep 598. And further. I'm going to watch two to three episodes a day. Just today, I watched EP 30-32 - Sparks Fly for Magnemite, Dig Those Diglett and The Ninja Poké-showdown. Starting with tommorow, I'm going to put the reviews up... enjoy!

Best of luck watching them all. You're going to need it. :p

Hey, it isn't so hard to watch 'em all. Of course you need lots of time for it (and lots of patience, especially in Johto episodes)... Though, 3 episodes a day isn't that difficult. I remember last summer when I watched about 5 episodes in one night, and it was kinda troubling. :p

Wow, good luck! I don't have the patience for this myself, but I look forward to your reviews!

I've actually done this too, but I only watch 3 eps a day.

If you think about it, you can watch 3 episodes in just an hour. If you watch 3 eps every day, you'll be surprised how fast you can speed through a certain saga.

You can honestly watch the entire 600 episodes of the anime in just a year or less if you do this.

I've done this with other anime before, except that I'm so lifeless I've done upwards to 7 episodes a day. xD Yeah, I finished quickly. In fact, last summer I remember speeding through the Kanto saga. Finished it in less than 2 weeks, but then again Kanto is short.

eh... I don't have the time to do that.... I have work to do ;-;
o well, have fun ^-^

wheer do u guys find the episodes lol.. like a site or something? iw ish i can watch from episode 1-598

I'm never going to understand how people survive those marathons. I suppose I could start it, but I don't expect myself to get much further than The Fortune Hunters.

The entire series, save for a few stray episodes here and there, is available on DVD.

I'm actually doing the same thing myself, lol. It's a wondrous bit of nostalgia, really. I'm a little further along than you are--"The Purr-fect Hero" to be exact, which I think is somewhere in the mid-50's. It's a shame that these earlier episodes aren't televised anymore; to me they're some of the best episodes in the entire series.

As soon as I get them all on my iPod, I'm going to try to watch the first season of Pokemon.

Have fun. :D

I managed to watch every episode/movie in about a three month period. Not certain how many episodes a day I'd watch. Just as many as I could fit in from when I woke up to when I went to sleep. (Being home schooled meant I never had anything standing in my way from doing so, except maybe laggy internet connection and such. xD)

Wow, that's hard as heck, man! I friggin' tried watching a single episode and had a near-death experience. There's the myth about the thousand eyed monster employed by Hera who was literally bored to death by Hermes. That nearly happened to me.

I don't see why you think its that hard. The show has enough changes from saga to saga to keep it fresh.

The only saga that takes forever to get through is Johto, considering its like 150 episodes long with the same fillers over and over again.

But aside from that, the rest of the sagas actually go by really fast when you watch multiple eps a day.

Just because I couldn't do this yesterday, I'm posting the reviews up for eps 30-32. Reviews for eps 1-29 are coming soon!

Episode #30- Sparks Fly for Magnemite 8.5/10

Hmm..... this was a hard one. This had a great storyline- but it could of been better. The Team Rocket bit at the end was pointless, but I suppoose you need it to lengthen the episode.

Episode 31- Dig Those Diglett
8/10

This episode was actually quite good- it had some good and some bad points, though. For example, I feel that they only brought in the 'greatest' trainers just for Gary to get another appearance. Which was pointless. Koffing and Ekans evolve by a 'miracle', instead of waiting at least another episode to evolve them. When I watched this as a youngster, it was so much better. You're lucky I didn't rate it 6/10.

Episode 32- The Ninja Poke-showdown
9/10

Wow. This starts off the filler arc of the series, but in a great way. This episode, along with the next two, was on an old video I had. The puzzles at the start are a good break for the episode. The only bad points are Bulbasaur using whirlwind, and the very swift gym battle.

Next: Eps33-35: The Flame Pokemon-athon, The Kangaskhan Kid, and yes, The Legend of Dratini.

I'm still trying to finish the latest DP thing. It was hard to get past the theme song without bleeding senses, but it's even harder to get past the sewer thing with the whale. I think it'll be worth a try watching the old episodes if I can, for old time's sake.

Ultradude, aren't the dp openings rubbish? Anyways, here's the episodes I'm watchin each day. Reviews will come the day after.

10/6/09- eps 33-35 : The Flame Pokemon-athon, The Kangaskhan Kid, Legend of Dratini

11/6/09- eps 36-38: The Bridge Bike Gang, Ditto's Mysterious Mansion, (maybe)Electric Soldier Porgon

12/6/09- eps 39-41 : Pikachu's Goodbye, The Battling Eevee Brothers, Wake Up Snorax!

Episode 33- The Flame Pokemon-athon 11/11/97 21/10/98
10/10

Wow. This episode is great, from start to finish. Some great gags at the start- Pikachu sleeping, Ash getting burnt by Ponyta, etc. Lara falling off Ponyta is a bit emotional. And the race is great- Pikachu riding Squirtle? Great gag. And Ponyta evolving was marvelous- I hope the next episodes are as good as this.

Episode 34- The Kangaskhan Kid 18/11/97 22/10/98
7/10

How do I say this? Not the greatest of episodes. Quite boring, and rather pointless. The second episode that their at the Safari Zone, but not in the Safari Zone. Not one of my favourites. And that kid, Tommy, and his father are really annoying. Hate it.

Episode 35- Legend of Dratini 25/11/97 ---------
8/10

Don't ask me how I watched this episode. This had subtitles, so at least it wasn't boring. Now I've watched it, realise how controversial it is. Great.
