At the start of December The Pokémon Company International opened up an official Twitter account which will feature exclusive updates and news on the Pokémon franchise.

The real problem is no one is asking GOOD questions, and the few good questions I'm seeing are drowned out by stupid ones.

Like the one they just answered "When is HGSS coming out?" *headdesks* I saw someone ask about Kotone's english name, but it fell into the background sadly. D:

... and now the Trainer Tuesday hashtag is full of everyone retweeting the Gen5-related tweet... *sighs*

I'd retweet some of the good questions around, but my twitter is private (too many spambots, one of which got through me being private today, what the hell?) and doesn't show up on the timeline.

Is there an official source proving the validity of this report? I can see of no link that proves this twitter account is legitimate. Perhaps should be classed as rumour until validated? I sent a request to pokemon.com and awaiting their reply.

I'm not surprised, HGSS was sellling well, and since the rumored tegra ds may be coming soon, then so will gen V. And that will mean another 1-200 pokemon, another Pokerap, and more pokemon to memorize if 151 wasnt enough.

Yeah, I do not want to be Debbie Downer and the menace of gloom, but has the fandumb actually dived to a low enough point to actually think TPC is has knowledge that way far into the future? Otherwise might as well join on the bandwagon, and hey, not one generation but MANY. Shits in plural dawgs, meaning many moons to be passed.

They're not gonna end it after four generations. Zelda didn't end after LttP, and the Master Sword was put away forever supposedly after that one.

So where's the proof that this Twitter page is legit?

It isn't mentioned anywhere at Pokemon.com, which would be the ideal place to announce it.

I call it fake until proven otherwise.
